if yer watchin he game you just saw 2 PERFECT LONG YARDAGE PASSES

The Anvil

I say that the game is a long way from over. He could go on to throw 4 interceptions. And if he does you had better be ready to suck it up and admit that he's just not ready.

I love how Jim Nantz is basically deep-throating him. You're SUPPOSED to score TD's in the NFL.  :2funny:

It's also bullshit that a 12-4 team has to play AT an 8-8 team just because the 8-8 team's division sucks. But that's a league problem and the NFL needs to address it.

Boxer rebellion, the Holy Child. They all pay their rent.

Saddles and zip codes, passports and gates, the Jones' keep.

The Anvil

Western PA's most famous sex offender (I think he still has an edge on Sandusky) also has no business being out there. He's overrated when he's healthy but he's not even that.

He's terrific running the ball, I won't take that away from him.

And believe it or not, I'm rooting for the Broncos in this one.

Typical Tebow. He got lucky on a horribly blown coverage. But he did at least earn this one by not forcing his defense to do everything.

The State of Florida is celebrating the success of our finest young man.  Tim Tebow makes us as proud as ever.  He is from a great city, a great state, and America's premier university.

We know that everybody in America and football fans around the world are as happy and proud as we are.

Your "finest young man" is a football player huh? Actually, that sounds abouty right for Florida.

anvil, i agree with alot of your tebow critiques/criticisms and 10 for 20 passing isn't overwhelming.  referrring to it as luck isn't fair tho.  30 yards per completion, no interceptions, several big plays, passes and runs, he played a great (not lucky) game.  there were several things that didn't go their way including a blown lateral fumble/call that represented a probable 14 pt swing.  bronco's earned that win from start to finish.  final play caught the steelers completely off guard and was well executed (strategy not luck).

I don't mean the whole game was luck. Like I said; he earned this one. But that last play was a gift by the Pittsburgh D.

''People talk about the combine, about body fat, 40 times, bench presses, how high you can jump. That's great, but how do you measure heart?' People talk about Tim Tebow like he can't do this or he doesn't have this throwing skill.  But all that matters is can he lead you from Point A to Point B.  I like him.  You cannot coach character.  You cannot coach leadership.'' what games were u watching?  if the referees has called the late hit on him when he slid for the first down, if they called the TWO face masks that they did to him,  The STOLLERS would have never even been able to score and tie the game.

the final OT play fooled the #1 defense who saw a run formation and then Tebow passed to a guy who was double covered.

I guess it was lucky.

Double covered?  :2funny: Watch the play again.

Refs miss penalties all game long every game. There simply aren't enough officials to see it all. Don't cry about it in a winning effort.

And Pittsburgh is not the #1 defense (which is self-evident since the Broncos beat them) people need to stop saying that. Yes, they allowed the fewest points in the league but they play in the offense-challenged AFC North. Your division matters.
