Now that I have turned 100,000 miles on the bike, are there any maintenance issues that should be addressed simply because of the mileage? I would like to keep this bike for another year or two and I do a lot of out-of-state driving. Don't want to get caught on the side of the road for not being prepared. Just did the rear end and the front forks. What else???

miles.  I think I would take the cover off and either just replace them, have them replaced or at least inspect them and the pulleys, etc. under the cover.  If you haven't adjusted the valves in 50,000 or so, that might me a good move now too, sync the carbs maybe.

Very important to replace the blinker fluid and to fill in those last few states that you haven't visited yet.  That valk will be around to see 200,000 in a few more years.  Ride safe.

I have alaready changed the blinker fluid to synthetic. They blink so much smoother!!  8)

Did you use speed bleeders to bleed those blinkers or just do it the regular way?   ;)  Done your brake and clutch fluid lately? If the dreaded left rear wheel bearing was good and you've changed the tire air you should be good. Tightened my timing belts a bit at 100,000 but I've talked to a few friends and they have mentioned once you've done that the belts don't last long so maybe new belts are in order and maybe new tensioners (or just the tensioner bearings) while in there as there have been a few tensioner bearing failures posted from time to time. Is your bike fast black? The fast black 2000 IS's are particularly prone to wear and tear issues due to the extra speed and acceleration issues that arise because of the fast black model produced in 2000. Honda should have named the fast black 2000 IS the "Millenium Special Edition Interstate".  :cooldude:

Sorry, didn't look close enough at your profile pic. I see that your 2000 IS is the extra special Blue and Silver Edition, almost bought one of those instead of fast black!

It sits on the shelf next to prop wash, hydraulic muffler bearings, and left handed screwdrivers.

Don't forget to check the Flux Capacitor, as well. And if you ever run into any un-freindlies while driving your Valk, be sure to use your Phase Plasma rifle in the 40 watt range on them!
