Brought back memories.  I once had a GT6.  The motor looked just like this one but two more cylinders.  It was loads of fun to play with, but you were constantly tweaking things.

I had a GT6+ Mk III.....in chocolate brown.  Tiny light weight little car with a 6 cylinder with two side draft stromburghs.  Thing would move pretty good.  Great chic getter back in the day.    Got married and the wife said it had to go.    Still miss that car......doubt I could still fit in it though.

Had an Austin Healy Sprite, was a great litle car, Lucas electrics and all.  Those twin SU carbs were sweet if you had the knack to tune them, not so much if you didnt.   I loved that thing, used to haul it in  a tandem axle U Haul enclosed trailer every time I had a military transfer.   Brought it home form Germany, was great fun in the Alps.

i like the ending of the video.  i've always seem to have extra parts after doing a break job on the wifes van, why is that?   

can someone tell me, why didn't he paint the engine when it was taken apart?  i've got an '84 yamaha that i want to tear apart one of these days, and redo it, the engine was originally black but the paint has since flaked off.  of course, it's one of those "retirement" things.....
