Thumper's Final Ride

Mark your calendars folks (sorry Eric) September 7 -9, we will take Paul Hinckley on his final ride on Charlene to his favorite roads and final resting place as he had ordered. 

Details in the works. If some want to come in Friday to north Atlanta (Roswell) I have a hotel deal working. More on that soon. $55/room single or double.

We'll have a Wake on Friday Sept 7 in Roswell 7 -9 pm. A chance to gather and remember Paul.

The ride will start 9 am Saturday the 8th from north Atlanta.

Got a couple question's Duffy...Is Paul's brother Greg going to ride Paul's bike on his last ride since he crashed his Beemer ? Did he get Paul's bike after his death ? Pretty sure Wimp and I will do our best to be in Georgia friday night 9-7-12 so we can make the entire ride with our friend on saturday 9-8-12.I'm hoping a few more from the Wild Bunch will be joining us that friday as well....I'm going to miss my friend

Working on the details,    - I am planning on you Joe reading the poem that was written by Daniel. Either at Blood Mountain or at the overlook on the Dragon. Let me know your thoughts.

Rollin' out now for " Thumper's Final Ride " . Lookin' foward to the ride down to Georgia as we cut our way through the beautiful mountains and all the awesome twisties ( no wonder Paul loved these roads ) . As for tomorrow when we scatter his ashes across Blood Mountain and The Dragon this will be something I've never done before.
