On the plus side for Israel is their nuclear arsenal and their vow to take the entire middle east with them if they are over run in a war. Between their nuclear triad of subs with missiles, Missiles, and maned bombers they pose a significant threat to Islamic warriors.
At lest one if not more of these weapons are targeted on the Aswan Dam in the upper Nile River. Should the dam be breached Egypt will cease to exist as it is estimated that the wall of water released would be only 300 ft high when it reached the Mediterranean Sea some 700 miles down stream from the dam. Not to mention all of the shrines of Islam located within easy reach of any missile system they currently possess. Also within easy reach are all of the capitols nand population centers of Europe, the Middle East, Russia to the Urals, and all the way to the capitol of India.
As Israel has said time and again since at least 1966 that they MUST win every war with Islam for the consequences of failure would be death for the entire population of the country.

I wonder if the PTB are really paying attention or perhaps they have not read their history....

Jeff, silence doesn't necessarily prove truth.  It could be that those who don't agree either simply find the claim too ludicrous to bother or they have simply become wearied by castigation and ridicule in the stead of meaningful logic.

It's also possible that by the constant name calling and ridiculing of anyone who sees reality in a different light than do you, you may alienate many who once called you friend.

I have my political opinions, and they are strong.  They are not strong enough, though, for me to let them cause me to demean my friends who happen to have differing political views.

There are some good political interchanges that take place here now and then.  None of them involve calling people "Kool-Aide drinkers" or "wing nuts" or using scornful names for others' political champions.

Conversations on this board are censored by the admin when they have violated the posted "Rules of the Road".  The admin team have agreed to those boundaries.

Jeff, if you really do want to be taken seriously by those with whom you disagree, you may want to pay closer attention to your spelling and grab a dictionary to look up the meaning of the term, apologist.

This here president we have IS  a dangerous man.  Anyone that voted for him was duped.  Our only hope is to reverse this insane spending and wealth redistribution.  I dont really care who thinks that isint true. Its socialism on the way.

As far as spelling.....I may spell badly according to you but I usually get my point accross.

I have friends, and I have a good relationship with all my friends.  Just about everyone I have ever met in person from the VRCC I feel is a friend......(there are some exceptions I guess)

If that many people are that unhappy with my postings all they.....OK.......all you have to do is ask me to go away and I would.  I dont think anyone has that much problem with what I have to say........Carl, you and I see things differently and I know that probably will always be.  That doesnt mean I dislike you or have any less respect for you.

Riding and working on Valkyries is what keeps most of us here in one place.  Unfortunately (or fortunately depending on the point of view) we are all different and see what is happening in the world differently.  Because of my background, military experience, beliefs and values......I feel it is vital that the man illegally in office be replaced as soon as possible.  No one seemed to mind when Bush was called all sorts of things.......now Obama is deserving of some harsh criticism and I dont really need to worry that someone may not take me seriously if I use the Koolaid thing.  Heck I dont take me seriously most of the time.  

Life is too short to worry about what others think of me, besides its none of my business...and I couldnt care less most of the time.

The only thing that matters is that those that know me know I care about people.  I care about America and and freedom.  I have and would again risk everything to fight for our freedom........so if you feel so moved to strike this here post go right ahead...if its against the precious rules of the road, then I dont want any part of that road!

Author and lecturer Nonie Darwish says the goal of radical Islamists is to impose Shariah law on the world, ripping Western law and liberty in two.

She recently authored the book, Cruel and Usual Punishment: The Terrifying Global Implications of Islamic Law. Darwish was born in Cairo and spent her childhood in Egypt and Gaza before immigrating to America in 1978, when she was eight years old. Her father died while leading covert attacks on Israel . He was a high-ranking Egyptian military officer stationed with his family in Gaza ..

When he died, he was considered a "shahid," a martyr for jihad. His posthumous status earned Nonie and her family an elevated position in Muslim society.
But Darwish developed a skeptical eye at an early age. She questioned her own Muslim culture and upbringing.. She converted to Christianity after hearing a Christian preacher on television.
In her latest book, Darwish warns about creeping shariah law - what it is, what it means, and how it is manifested in Islamic countries.

For the West, she says radical Islamists are working to impose sharia on the world. If that happens, Western civilization will be destroyed. Westerners generally assume all religions encourage a respect for the dignity of each individual. Islamic law (Sharia) teaches that non-Muslims should be subjugated or killed in this world.

Peace and prosperity for one's children is not as important as assuring that Islamic law rules everywhere in the Middle East and eventually in the world.

While Westerners tend to think that all religions encourage some form of the golden rule, Shariah teaches two systems of ethics - one for Muslims and another for non-Muslims. Building on tribal practices of the seventh century, Shariah encourages the side of humanity that wants to take from and subjugate others.

While Westerners tend to think in terms of religious people developing a personal understanding of and relationship with God, Shariah advocates executing people who ask difficult questions that could be interpreted as criticism.

It's hard to imagine, that in this day and age, Islamic scholars agree that those who criticize Islam or choose to stop being Muslim should be executed. Sadly, while talk of an Islamic reformation is common and even assumed by many in the West, such murmurings in the Middle East are silenced through intimidation.

While Westerners are accustomed to an increase in religious tolerance over time, Darwish explains how petro dollars are being used to grow an extremely intolerant form of political Islam in her native Egypt and elsewhere.

I think you're confusing hate and anger with serious concern and trepadation as to where this country is headed and the fact that we as a nation voted into power someone with practacally no experience to lead, much less govern this country.......someone with questional background, someone that has sealed his past, someone that was voted into power via the cult of personality alone.

To set the record straight....I appreciate the feedback.   I dont mind comming off as angry.  My goodness anyone that isint angry over the incompetence of the federal government lately must be asleep or worse.  However, I do not wish to be percieved as hatefilled, so on that note, I will more carefully choose my words when expressing my personal views.
