I removed my luggage racks off my trunk and bag lids and replaced them with chrome steel spikes.

Now you just squewer the groceries on top that dont fit inside?  (twas a joke)  I like the look, and seriously them racks are expensive decoration that few actually use.

I like the look on the saddlebag lid.  I would of kept the rack on the trunk, that's just me....I use mine.  I like the orange color of your bike.    What color was it before?  My I/S is black and I have said many times that "someday" it's going to change colors.  Was thinking of orange and creme...."dreamsicle".

It was already repainted when I bought it. I have never checked the vin# to find out the original color. Oddly it looks orange in pics but is more red looing in person. I was told that it is Corvette Red. But I'm nut sure. I don't really use the the luggage racks. I am also thinking about taking off the leather pad on the trunk. Just trying to change the vibe.

Guy i ride with got a H/D 1200 CC soft tail with leather bags. The flaps on both bags have about a dozen and a half spikes on each flap. Looks good on his bags also. RIDE SAFE.

I have a 57 chev. conv. The paint on mine looks the same. The color will change depending on the light it's in. It was called matador red in the day. And i should know because i was two when the car came off the line.
