97-99 Valk seats may cause discomfort,....now a cheap cure!

I've had my I/S seat reupholstered by Sargent Cycle: it as inexpensive, but more than that it is an extremely comfortable seat. Not every rider will find the aftermarket seats to cure all their "saddlesores" or provide the proper comfort levels for long distance or long saddle time.

I just completed a 98 seat modification using the below website. It was CHEAP and it seems very comfortable just sitting on it (way to cold now to ride). I would say that a Russell or Mayer seat modification would give greater long distance comfort, but you will pay dearly for that long distance comfort.

ALWAYS QUESTION AUTHORITY!

I did something like  that on my 78 gold wing.  On my Valkyrie I put a Corbin seat on the bike then sheepskin. That helped a lot.
One quick and easy way to improve your ride is to pick up a shipping envelope with the little bubbles in it.  You can even get a water proof one.  When you're not sitting on it just put in the bag.
Now that's CHEAP!!

And you can fart loudly and blame it on the seat cushion.

Yeah ,  my original seat in my 98 tourer is night and day compared to those other ones imho. When it wears, I'm going with the reupholstered idea. I've decided this idea years ago. I pass a place that does it on my 120 mile daily ride to work and back.

Cheaper for me was a used stock seat off of a 2000 Valk.
Big difference in comfort.
Now if only I could find a cheaper alternative for my 2010 Wing Trike.
Not loving the OEM seat on that one too.
