It's winter time...Many of us Northerners are out of commission, riding wise. I try to ride even if it's in the 20's, but I refuse to ride anymore if the roads have salt on them. It's too much of a pain to deep sand the rims-been there, done that.

Unfortunately, I don't have any fresh pics or riding stories. But I'm a great Lurker!

I miss the posts that Ratdog did he was " Zesty "  ....He helped me out many times back in the day with questions I had about the Valkyrie...I know he still hangs around on the Ohio board but damnifiknow I just don't feel welcome on that board so I stay away  ???

Of all the peoples I miss from this board, I miss Varmint the most. We even had some heavy "disagreements" in the past. But we met at IZ III, I believe it was, and became pretty good friends. But he mosied on to other pastures. Last I heard, he put his bike up for sale a couple yrs back.

Things have gotten nasty and quite frankly, sometimes I look at page one of the board and I can't find much that isn't political or religious.  Of course it's not my place to say what should or should not be discussed here but I come here for Valkyrie related stuff.  There really isn't a lot of bike stuff here anymore.  I would be willing to bet that others feel the same.

So, if you're like me and you don't want to discuss politics or religion (or have other people's political and religious views endlessly jammed down your throat), thhere isn't a lot for you here.

The tech board, however remains Awesome.

Mr JeffK, Ratdog, myself and a whole bunch of oHIo boys, including several Illinois people partake on the oHIo Board just to stay in touch.    We also have solo1 from Indiana and Don & Tracy from Verginger, might be West, but that is just a minor detail.     Come on over, anyone is welcome.    We even let Wicked Wanda add things.    Bones tries to control her, but if you know WW, NO ONE controls her except her puppy Big Red.     LOL........

 

Oh Lordy be, I was in trouble till I added mojo and Sindee from oHIo.   He is so close to the neighboring state he isn't really sure where he belongs.    Right mojo?

Also, those oHIo people are good people, Doc & Lady Di, from Indana also wander around at least once a day.     If you didn't know it, Doc & Lady Di just married their oldest daughter to Mark Kelley, great kid.........   I met him at the last CBR that Doc used to put on.

  I for one, had to quit posting cuz my c-puter went south, I had to have another one fixed and went back to work, and thats my story and I'm stickin to it.<<<  but I never was one to do a lot of posting anyway.------also I am doing a lot of stuff with  amateur radio now so I only get on the board in the am for a little while to check up on things, I do know that we have lost a few to death and sicness, but you can always count on Stanley Steamer for a good laugh, he is so full of himself that you gotta luv him.,,,of course --I do PRAY for him tho,-----and no--I don't leave any of you out---I PRAY for all of you everyday.------MERRY CHRISTMAS------ to all BOGATOR

While the board has changed, it always has been open to just about every subject.  Ignore what you don't want to jump in on.

One thing about the 'good ole days' that  I didn't like ,was the posts by Vmax.  He went much too far, even as a Canadian  .
