Try this; when I was a kid we would strip down our old bikes....usually an old HD. Put chains on the back wheel and strap a skid of some sort on the front one and lock the front wheel into position. Then make bets as to how long we could stay up before getting dumped in a snow bank. We even tried just sliding downhill on them one time, no power. I think one kid is still tumbling head over heels....and that was 1952.

sounds like fun John.. when i was 13 i rode an old harley 45 w reverse and we wouldn run it into a snow bank and put it in reverse..had carriage bolts in the tires.. right now I am waitin on some brackets to be shipped to put a hack on my Vstrom.. gonna mount a darkside snow tire on the rear of the bike and use it winter and summer for some adventure touring..
