I think the coolest thing about those is having two drive wheels, the rear wheel of the bike and the sidecar wheel.

Charlie said it will do a whopping 60 mph downhill with a tailwind.  It is way cool.

There is. Guy in crystal MI that rides his year round. That's saying something in Michigan. It's done in camo and is a damn close replica of a WW11 side car bike. He loves it for what it is. Still gotta be a cold ass ride. He's not sporting any lectric underwar either.

Damn, I wish I'd of gone that way and not convert MGM to a Trike.

That sucker with chair drive wheel I could almost ride it anywhere in the current weather.

Like right now in our 6.2,3,4,5 depending on who ya listen to it is debatable how much snow we got.

In my long driveway it measured 6.3", in my other driveway, it measured 6.4, so take your pick.

Wife wouldn't let me take the blower to the driveways and sidewalk.    So she did them and I had to take her  to work and pick her up.   She said she didn't want me to aggravate my bronchitis, which I can't seem to get rid of.   I'm on my 3rd bottle of antibiotics.    Don't seem to touch it.

All I'll say is the County I live in sucked on this removal, and the city just one county up, was making many many passes over the streets.    I think they were moving the snow all over trying to wear it out.

Yes after over 40 years of riding tour motorcycles I decided I wanted something that was so far to the otherside of the riding spectrum.  It is a 2012 Ural Yamal Limited Edition.  The bike is named after a Russian peninsula that is north of the Artic Circle and a famous Russian nuclear icebreaker the NS Yamal.  That is where the color orange and the sharks teeth design comes from. Ural only makes 50 of the limited Editions worldwide.

Sorry Hayhauler it only made 55 mph when I was on FM 620 outside of Austin TX.  It was on a downhill with a strong West Texas tailwind.  It is quite a learning curve to learn the handling of this motorcycle.

It definately is life in the slow lane.  Took me almost 8 hours to get from Austin TX back to Freeport TX. One of my more enjoyable rides over the last few years. You think the Valk draws attention, everytime I stopped people would walk by and then do a doubletake. start asking questions.  The best one was "Does it Float"?

How does it ride. Not bad. No ride like the wing, but smoother than most would think.  Has a driveshaft and I had the "Your ass is too big for the stock seat" replacement seat with extra spring installed.  Slow and steady. I can go off road by locking the sidecar wheel so it is two wheel drive.

And as Duffy said, I didn't give up the wing.  This is my commuter bike.  Down here is south Texas you can drive on the beach and because I like to fish it will help me get some of the out of the way fishing spots.

Those are nice. I too, have wanted one for a few years.
As I understand it after WWII the Russians picked up the BMW werke and took it back to Mother Russia. Essentially, its a 1941 BMW. Mods are inevetable and progress does march on.
I like it.

Eric if you can fit in the tube, as Joe would say,"Let's ride"! I believe that would be a sight.

Jess I'm working at DOW for the next few years.  My home is in Amarillo. Who knows if I make it to The Fall Color Ride, but it might show up locally.
