Looking for m6x40 bolts

I have been looking for m6x40 chrome flange bolts everywhere on the internet. I have called all the motorcycle stores. I have tried HDL, Kuryakyn and other chrome accessory companies with no avail. They all ask what the part number is. Its a hondaline aftermarket bolt, I don't know what the part number is, it just says m6x40 bolt.
I have found them in 35mm length or zinc or allen or with a ridge instead of smooth chrome. This is what I am looking for....


These are zinc (not what I want)


This has the ridge (don't want these either)


I am running out of ideas.Do you know who may carry these. I need 2 of them to match my other 2. If they don't match, I will need 4.

Already saw that one. The one in the pic is zinc and the chrome pics have some type of print on top. I called a few times but they DON'T answer the phone. I am waiting for a reply from BOTH of my emails, last weeks and this weeks. I guess they don't want my business.

Are these the bolts that hold the fender to the lower forks?  If so I have looked for them for 6 months. Closest thing I have found is from ACE Hardware. But the threads go all the ay up.

These are the culprits...... I will call them again, maybe someone else will answer.

As far as I know, all fender bolts are allen head 6x32.   Do you have a fender guard?

No fender guard. I dont need the allen fender bolt. Its for the chrome fork covers. It needs to be M6x40 chrome flange bolt.

I bought some last month in my local Ace Hardware. My local store chooses to carry more hardware than other Ace's. He has a great metric selection. I bought stainless though, no chrome.

Already thought about that. I may end up selling them. They are brand new, never installed. I have had them for many years and now when I open the box, it is missing 2 bolts and 2 spacers....

While I had the covers out of the box, the hounds decided to eat the box.

At least the covers are still in pristine condition.
