DEAR GOD! THE HUMANITY! I shall cry for you.

In Iowa this week. Monday, 250 miles on bike. 80 degrees. Let me repeat that, 80 degrees. I had to take my coat off it was so hot. Monday evening on the way home, temp drops nearly 30 degrees.

Oh, I nearly hit an airplane too. Aerial seeding the median on a new 4 lane highway. Aerial seeding signs along the highway. Couple of State pickups along the road.

I see him coming and I'm doing 85 and he banks sharply over the road (I don't think he seen me right there) right in front of me about eye level, to line up and we were in remarkably close proximity for a moment. I did wave at him as we passed by each other. But I digress...

Tuesday I've got a yard covered in pea sized hail, Tuesday night it is frozen to the ground.

It is Wed. and it is in the low 30's and headed to the mid 20's and tomorrow we get a possible 6 " of snow.

I don't know how you guys in Texas can stand your weather. At least ours changes couple times a day.

Mother nature is surely jesting with us this spring all over the good old US of A.  :coolsmiley:

I have better words to use than jesting, but this is a family board -  :tickedoff:

I guess it could be worse here with ONLY over 5" of rain in 3 days, my sump pump could fail and have 2 feet of standing water in the basement destroying 100's of items I have accumulated over the past 20 years?

A week ago I was hoping for the rains to come and wash the salt/road grime off the roads.  I guess I should've been careful what I wished for?  :'(

Yep, it was 42, misty, and then rainy, as I rode to work yesterday.  Jacket liner worked like a champ.  Jeans dried out after an hour, or so.  I learned the hard way a couple of years ago not to remove winter gloves from the saddlebag until 1 May.  Paid off yesterday.

42 and dry this morning.  Should I take the truck?

Here in Lubbock, it was snowing ~hard~ when I woke up. Then by mid-afternoon, there wasn't a cloud in the sky...... Rest of the week looks great.

At about 1500hrs 3 P M for some of ya-it was 83 degrees and very muggy here. This morning it's 36 degrees and I turned the heat-which had been off about a week-back on last night before I went to bed. Supposed to be in the 70s again by Sunday. RIDE SAFE.
