I can put my daughter forward to be a lead/back up singer, it's a bit far to come for rehersals tho 

She's studying at a music college where they get a certain amount of time to study a genre of music, at the end of it they have to perform in public, and get assessed. This time it was "rap", I hate this style of music, she don't like it much, but it's part of the course.

If you run out of storage space, I'll be glad to store that Fender Telecaster and that Gibson ES for you for awhile.  

I thought it was a Gretsch at first look, but is that a 335?

I used to have a '72 Thinlilne Telecaster back in the day. 

Amongst all those stringy thingys, you spy a '67 Tele and an Epiphone dot. 335ish but way $$ cheaper. Single controls for both P.U.'s which is alright cause I never really liked fiddling with all those extra knobs anyway!

Not yet! Even after 1 throat surgery (after singing "Dirty White Boy" like I had for years). Other than riding its the most fun I have ever had in my life. The people are the bonus plan!

BTW, before I bought my acoustic/elect. bass, I got a 5 string thinking since I played bass in bands also, the 5 string was the way to go. WRONG! Kept getting lost. When I took it back for a 4 string, the guy had to laugh cause he knew exactly why I was back!

That Fender Telecaster is 46 years old.  Figure I'll keep playin it till I get it right!

Nice! I have the same thing in a 6 string. 2 Ibanez 6s are my mainstay now and the Carvin is on the wall with my 68 Jazz Bass. Good stuff.     Some post never die, just like the music.

Had the same problem at first. Did the "total immersion" thing and made myself play nothing but the 5-string until it clicked. Now I won't go back to 4. Love the low end. Remember: "There's not enough bass in the mix unless the first three rows are having involuntary bowel movements".

I just needed a bass to lay some loops for bedroom pickin. I will, however, take heed of the bass mix in the future!!

You don't know how many times I've heard that over the years. Our current drummer seldom uses the cow bell. Maybe twice a night, but I've had a couple that "like" it too much.

I was re-watching the video. At least she can "SING". As for the other 2, thats not singing in my book.
