Anybody out there have a successful quick repair? I tried quick steel and a hose clamp. That didn't last very long. Thanks in advance, Arty

I brought one over (for a fellow rider) to a local welding shop and had the clamp welded. It's stainless steel I believe (I don't have one with me right now).
The shop did a nice job!  :)
I still have a full deck.
I just shuffle slower ...

Hose clamp and two pop rivets. I have an I/S so the saddle bag covered the rivet on the top edge. The rivet on the bottom edge can`t be seen unless you get under the bike.

I went to menards and bought some stainless 4" circle clamps (like hose clamps) from the plumbing department. Looked good amd did the job :cooldude:
