I can't help about the shape I'm in
I can't sing, I ain't pretty and my legs are thin
But don't ask me what I think of you
I might not give the answer that you want me to

Psychotic Bovine

that is pretty funny.
I wonder if someone like me could get away with parking on a sidewalk?

Looked like an emergency Big Gulp stop.   ???

Well it was probably a hot summer day and the cop parked on a concrete sidewalk so he did not put another side stand depression in the pavement so his Sargent could not tell how many times he actually stopped at that doughnut shop.   :2funny:

Not a fan. Youth of America are a little to cocky. He should be more concerned about his future with the way this world is going, than where a cop is parking? Plus his accent sounded like his family may be in this country illegally?

When that kid gets his license and gets pulled over by that cop he may regret what he said. Yea cops do things like parking on a sidewalk or something else that may be technically illeagel all the time, but do you want to call them out on it. Bad idea. Little smart ass.

Most officers I am sorry to say seem to be less community supportive than when I was younger.

More interested in revenue enhancement under pressure from the brass and talking on the phone

Today on my way to court I saw a dozen cruisers parked on safety islands, on sidewalks, facing the wrong way on one way streets blocking hydrants

I saw one cruiser run a red light and two others blow past stop signs with neither lights or sirens

I was on my bmw police bike ironically and gave them all a wide berth

and of course almost everyone of them is on the freakin phone

A sign of the times?   :-\   its sad for all of us I suppose

I have to produce my driver license when i am pulled over so there is no question in my mind
that if a kid asks... The officer MUST provide his badge number or name

When I get home I will post the pic of the officer giving a ticket to a kid on a bike with training wheels

the only time I can get away with parking just were ever is when I am on a call. Anytime anyone asks for my badge number not only do I give it to them I wright it down along with my name so they don't miss spell it. The kid my have been cocky but he is still wright and needs to send that video to the locale chief. My Sheriff would have that officers head.

Its always seems to be a Harley.......just sayin.....but bikers park on the sidewalks at stores around here all the time.  I think its a universal feeling that many riders have that motorcycles for some reason deserve either concrete, a cover, or separation from "normal" vehicles.

I've actually been called selfish and inconsiderate for parking my motorcycle in a regular parking spot INSTEAD of parking it oh the sidewalk... We just can't win.

I just make sure I'm not impeding anyone else on foot or in a vehicle and park where I can easiest fit.

I had one lady come up and ask me what I thought gave me the right to park on the sidewalk. I told her well... by me being here, that leaves one less taken spot for the cars to fight over. That seemed to take the wind outta her sails and she left me alone (Either that or the sight of me getting off the bike changed her attitude, I'm told that can have an effect that I really don't intend.)

Never ask a geek 'Why?',just nod your head and slowly back away...

A friend of mine didn't understand why so any people were afraid of him. Another friend told him, "You ain't seen you mad."
You ain't seen you get off a bike.  ;D
