Handle bar risers

Last year somebody had posted where to get a set of risers. I can't find the post now. The riser would bring the bars back about an inch and not require any cable replacement. Any help will be apreciated.

I have Lamonster Risers on my valk. It brings the bars back and slightly down, and requires no rerouting/modification.

Harley Deuce risers can also be used with slight modification. They will bring the bars up and back. In order to use them, you'll need an Interstate throttle  housing, so that the throttle cables exit on bottom, and provide an added amount of clearance.

They helped stop a upper back pain when riding several hours

At one time we had all three versions of the Valkyrie.  I put these Showchrome risers on all three including the Interstate.  They helped a lot with slow speed maneuvering and take the strain off your shoulders and back.

LaMonster are definitely taller than OE risers.... rise and pullback.

1.25" pullback and .25" rise. on the lamonster risers.

They sure feel lower in my lap than the OE's. Also, I have an early set of the LaMonster risers which do not compensate for the round indention in the forks. I used my OEM clamp top-piece due to pitting on the tops (only) of the Lamont risers. They provided a good amount of clearance for my fingers to punch the buttons on my stereo. Something that was hindered with the OE risers.

Id like to try the deuce's and see how they compare.

Aeromach are duplicates of LaMonster (or visa versa) (except for old lamonsters not covering the bolt holes entirely)

These 4 inch Pullback Handlebar Risers (stock are 3 1/8")....raising the bars up 2"  and 1-1/2" closer to you from the stock location.

I believe Skelton erred in reporting a quarter inch rise over stock, Aeromach has it right (HDL does not say, other than 1.5" pullback)

Remember this, all you have to do is loosen the topclamp and raise/pivot the bars in the clamp a few degrees, and the grips will come up considerably... of course, too much is stupid and will tension the cables.

BTW, that topclamp can approximate chrome with a little aluminum polish. (and glare in the eyes when in the sun.  LOL)

I got mine from Aeromach years ago; asked they price match the cheaper HDL LaMonsters, and they did.  I also stuck their Reaper topclamp on them.... no longer made. (there was some worry it might hit the IS tank, but it doesn't).



I have the duece (knockoffs, no reason to pay HD prices) on my other IS.  5'5" tall..... more rise and pullback yet.  Came on the bike with all braided stainless lines/cables (except throttle).  For cruising kicked back on the hwy pegs, I like the deuce better, but in technical riding I like the LaMonster much better.  On my IS with an Ultimate bigboy seat, the deuce risers bring the low side grip back close to my thigh at full lock.  My back may like the deuce risers better, but my wrists like the lamonster's better.  

I'm 5'9".  Personally,I like all the rise I can get, but not more than 1.5" pullback over stock.

I used the Baron 4" Kickback Risers. Raises the bars maybe an inch and back somewhat. The ones listed for the VTX 1300R will fit, comes with three sets of bolts so use the ones that fit the best. The ones supplied are about 3/4" to long where they go thru the tree but just hacksaw that much off. You don't have to change any cables or wires unless you roll the bar back towards you to much. Rolling them back shortens the slack and forward gives you more slack.
