Installing new emblems / help

Hope this is OK to post in the "general board", if not I apologize to the mods and feel free to move to the tech board. I am trying to install new emblems on my tank and was hoping to get some guidence on where they should be. These would be the stock emblems for a 1999. If I could maybe get a measurement from the front of the tank to the front edge of the emblem and a measurement from the bottom edge of the tank to the base of the emblem. I think this his would at least get me close to where they belong. Any advise or help would be greatly appreciated.

With a sheet of paper contoured to the tank it measures.

Bottom edge of tank to bottom of emblem is 5 and 1/2 Inches.

Front edge of tank back to the point of emblem is 4 and 11/16 inches.
