heard the doorbell ring about 9:30pm.....and then a "pop.....pop.....pop"......by the time I put some pants on and got outside to investigate, no one was around........only a burnt spot on the concrete floor of the porch.....appears like some kind of firework?...... :-\........ :tickedoff: :tickedoff:

Probably some teenagers since school just got out.......it's a good way to get lead poisoning....... :cooldude:

Be thankful it wasn't a burning paper bag that smelled bad.

Instead of lead poisoning how about a Desert Eagle loaded with blanks and see if you can give the perps either a severe case of da craps or a heart attack.  :cooldude: RIDE SAFE.

Uhhhhhh..........NOTHING like that.........

We are usually the most stable, honest, hardworking guys most inmates have ever been around.....and a few have even admitted it to me over the 17.5 years I've been there....I've had a half dozen tell me that they'd never seen anyone as hard working as me...... :-\.........I get that from the internal "customers" at my sites all the time.....too bad it never helped me when I needed it to the most...... :( :(

On a good note, my Wife just got a promotion today.....after 19 yrs at a local bank, they decided that she was the most qualified of 7 internal candidates, and she only met the guy who'll be her new boss once.....he said he'd gotten nothing but good comments and praise from others whom she's worked with at the bank.....she already knows how to do 80% of what her new job duties will be as a Regional Fraud Investigator......I guess this is the one time that it was more WHAT you know than who you know.....she only called in sick ONE time in those 19 years......last year when she was really, really sick.....

I guess that's the difference between a private bank compared to the local Govt?....... :-\
