Today's Ride... The Anaconda

Hooked up this morning with Brad from Michigan along with Whiskey Man, Sugar and Lawdog. Outstanding ride with some very good riders. We dodged and ran from the thundersrorms a few times today and I must say we did a hellofa job in doing so as we never got wet

I got started early and took a ride before the ride . The picture below was on a old backroad outside of Norris , Tennessee.

After breakfast we took off and made our way up through historic Rugby and into Jamestown.The picture below was taken at what I think the locals call The Rock House.

We ate in Livingston while waiting out a rain storm ( Thanks for lunch Brad

) before hitting The Anaconda. It was wet in spots however we made the best of it and had a pretty spirited ride across. Picture below is about mid-way of The Anaconda . Whiskey Man and his wife Sugar.

I'm not familar with this road what was the route? Were you in livingston ky?

Ever since you showed me this road Joe, I try to ride it as much as possible. No traffic and some great road into and out of that area.

Miss that here in the Motherland, Texas but .....................................

Next time thru TWINTON(on 85)- turn north(forgot the name of the route), go just a few miles to the next settlement. There is a little store there(maybe still there) that the Vet that owns it, cooks in a bunch of crock pots and the result is very good. The store is a block off the "main road" so may have to look around a bit.... gravel parking lot - but most of us can handle that?
