How about a joke?

Jewish Tie Salesman

A fleeing Taliban terrorist, desperate for water, was plodding through the Afghan desert when he saw something far off in the distance.
Hoping to find water, he hurried toward the mirage, only to find a very frail little old Jewish man standing at a small makeshift display rack - selling ties.
The Taliban terrorist asked, "Do you have water?"
The Jewish man replied, "I have no water. Would you like to buy a tie? They are only $5."
The Taliban shouted Hysterically, "Idiot Infidel! I do not need such an over-priced western adornment. I spit on your ties. I need water!"
"Sorry, I have none, just ties - pure silk, and only $5."
"Pahh! A curse on your ties! I should wrap one around your scrawny little neck and choke the life out of you but . . . I must conserve my energy and find water!"
"Okay," said the little old Jewish man. "It does not matter that you do not want to buy a tie from me, or that you hate me, threaten my life, and call me infidel. I will show you that I am bigger than any of that. If you continue over that hill to the east for about two miles, you will find a restaurant. It has the finest food and all the ice-cold water you need. Go In Peace."
Cursing him again, the desperate Taliban staggered away, over the hill.

Several hours later, he crawled back, almost dead, and gasped,

"They won't let me in without a tie!"   :2funny:

OK, I'll try another.  (Shortened version.)

Man and wife at art gallery looking a painting of three black guys sitting naked on a park bench looking tired... but one has a white penis. They ask a curator what it means and he gives them some vague reference to the downtrodden and hard life (which makes no sense to the couple).  As he leaves an Irishman comes up and says... don't listen to that guy..... those are three Irish miners, covered head to toe in soot and coal dust.  One of them went home for lunch.

R J

So how is Mr. JimmyT today?

Did you have an uneventful trip up to Kansas, and back home?

Did you find the one curve in Kansas?

See ya Brother.
44 Harley ServiCar

R J

Yupper, heard both of those long time ago, but it is nice to refresh on them again.     I liked the miners the best.   LOL.

Sorry RJ, didn't mean to ignore ya.  I had a great trip to see the ole swab up in KS.  780 miles on the way home in one day.  Easy peasy.
Been working on Ole Blue since before the Kansas trip and just last night got the faring from the painter and got it back on the bike.
Now, just need to get the new Metz front tire put on tonight and wash her up.  Then I will be ready to ride for IZ.
I took those dam carbs off 3 times in a week because of a slow jet clogging issue.  Finally used a set of carbs I got from JoeValk Santa Fe and got her going.  I was starting to question my desmog, but it turned out to be the passage way in the carb for the slow jet circuit on #4 that was the problem.
Anyway, new tire, new oil, then wash and I am done... just barely in time for IZ.
Gonna have to go out tomorrow night for about a 100 mile shake down run to make sure that there are no issues.
Rode her to werk today, so things are lookin' up!

RJ,

There was a lot of tall tales and "wind" up in Lacrosse, but I'm not sure it was the pure oxygen "breathable" type. :)
