We hear all the time from democrats that "I'm a gun owner" or "I have guns in the house" or "I like target practice and hunting". We've all heard those over and over again.

But what does it mean?

They are democrats with guns. That's it. They are nothing more than that.

They aren't interested in gun rights. If they were they'd stop pulling levers for the gun grabbers they keep reelecting over and over again. But when it comes down to it they continue to vote these anti-gun politicians back into office. In other words, their votes make them de facto anti-gun as well.

Instead of standing up for the right to bear arms to protect yourself, your family, and your property, they are satisfied to let others do the heavy lifting so they can benefit from it.

Sound familiar?

Politicians are lawyers, and lawyers will say anything to win their case. Lawyers are turds with no conscience. This country will never recover until we vote in accountants!

True.... but I'm not sure about the accountants in office tho.

NO they do NOT really support the 2A.  They want to be able to have their guns, but they don't want the average Joe or Jane to have any.   They don't care about nothing but the $$$

Well, while I agree that politicians are what they are...my post was directly aimed at the democrats that vote them into office. While they pay lip service to the rights granted under 2A, they continue to demonstrate their hypocrisy by voting these career anti-gun clowns into office.

Serk

There's a popular misconception (IMHO propagated intentionally by those on the left) that the 2nd amendment was put in place in order to protect the ability of the people to go duck hunting.

Never ask a geek 'Why?',just nod your head and slowly back away...

I agree with that. And those that continue to vote them in are equally as culpable as the democrats.

Yep, but, they refuse to believe that 'they' are coming for your guns.

musclehead

on that 'other' board I lurk there are many fine arguements against the 2A, none of them make any sense.

"you have the right to a musket" (since that was the highest technology of the day)

"you can keep and bear arms, but no ammo" ( some over there are calling for a $1.00 tax per round)

She'd be in favor of it if the Klan was coming for her.  Her son is dead because he was a punk ass thug, not because of the second amendment.  If Zimmerman hadn't of shot him, it was only a matter of time before the cops caught him or one of his own got him living by the "code of the street".  What a bunch of crap.
