Think I was about 16 or 17 and drivin' my '64 Chevelle around when this came out.

I can't help about the shape I'm in
I can't sing, I ain't pretty and my legs are thin
But don't ask me what I think of you
I might not give the answer that you want me to

BF,  you're showing your age by telling us what you were listening to way back when guessing in the 60's before some of us were born or just starting out.  Never heard of that band and not being insulting, but can't say I would've missed them that much either.  Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, AC/DC was more my style late 70's early/mid 80's.

That would be 59.   ;)

I'm pretty sure that was a one hit wonder band.  Heard it on the radio this morning and couldn't get it outta my head.

Those boys from Pittsburgh in about 1970. But, my main question to the 'more cowbell' title is, where is Christopher Walken ? Or, don't we have any SNL fans.

Well sir, being a fifty-niner myself, I had a '64 Impala SS until I traded it for a '65 Chevelle SS. Got a lot in common with this thread. I guess I'm starting to grow up, 'cause I'm down to just one Valk.. Also in common love MORE COWBELL!

I was looking for that song,  :cooldude:
"Some people see things that are and ask, Why? Some people dream of things that never were and ask, Why not? Some people have to go to work and don't have time for all that."

I remember that song very well & I was born the same year as the best looking car to come out of Detroit in the 1950's did.

Of course I'm talking about the 1957............ FORD!!!

Much nicer lines than that stodgy looking GM crap.  :2funny: :2funny: :2funny: :2funny:

I'm 59 and remember that song very well - as far as cars -  at that time I had a 65 Comet Cyclone with a high performance 289 that was very quick !  It was canary yellow with black bucket seats - had a 3 on the tree and I broke it off shifting to second more than once !
