The president's new plan for assuring 'equality' in the school system.

It's called "The African-American Education Initiative".

This executive order was signed July 26 2013.  It specifically restricts punishments given by the school system to black students for bad conduct.

Let's say, two students were caught smoking in the bathroom at recess.  The non-black student would be subject to suspension or expulsion and the black student could be sent back to class.  That should do wonders for assuring racial equality in the schools!

How will this be interpreted by black students, a lot of whom have a very limited understanding of consequences and already no respect for authority, or even the concept of right and wrong?  If someone is allowed to 'get away' with doing things as a child, how will they turn out as an adult?  How far does this rule go?  Will we owe the 3 fifteen year old black drug dealing thugs that beat the hell out of a white 13 year old a pass and maybe an apology for the bus driver 'yelling' at them?

I'll reference a couple of sources.  The first one is the official Whitehouse web page.  Note the black elitists 'leaders' elated with the signing.  Most notable is the Reverend Al Sharpton standing at Obama's right hand side.

Secondly, a discussion on the pitfalls and injustice this order brings.

On a similar but slightly different topic:

I listened to a aspiring, race-baiting politician address the "disproportional number of blacks in prison relative to their percentage of the population."  He had a constituency of mostly black, though not exclusively black bobble heads nodding in approval to every comment he made.

He said, the reason that a high number of people in prison are black is because, cops question and arrest mostly black men.  Furthermore, courts convict these men.  Not one single bobble head questioned if he thought black men committed more crimes requiring the high number of arrests.  The man went on to say, cops should be limited in their arrests to a figure based on the race demographic of an area or precinct.

What would that mean?  If teen black males kill or violently assault their 'quota', based on population, would we have to give the rest of the black criminals a pass until the next year.  Would the cops be restricted to arrests of grandmotherly types for the remainder of the year?

Was actually in 2012 it was signed, not that it matters much for this discussion.

to Fudd  I read the link and thought it was old news and consistent with the party platform

Affirmative action is a joke today and has been for years now.

I think EVERYONE should fill out the blank BLACK when they register their kids for school and that will give EQUAL PROTECTION as the Constitution requires.  Then the law will mean nothing and like the story of the emperors new clothes will be exposed for the fraud that it is

If the order required ALL children of ALL races etc I would be in favor, this is just bullshit and is another
example of my party being devisive and exclusive.  If it were not for the fact I enjoy voting against liberal asshats in the primary I would become a registered libertarian

Wayne,  I have nothing to say to your post, it just left me speechless

I don't think the posting was racist in the least. It shows yet another example of where this idiot in chief has widened the racial gap in America. That's all it shows and is meant to show.

I support totally colorblind equality in education, the workplace and the justice system.  I don't believe that giving any particular group an advantage over another group, based on race is fair.  If that is what constitutes 'racist' in this day and age, then I guess that I am.

My apologies on misreading the signing date.  I saw a discussion on the 'African American Education Initiative' in another forum.  In trying to weed out bad internet information, I googled the Whitehouse version to confirm the validity of an executive order that I felt was preposterous.  It would not be the first time that a presidential order of this type was given, but somehow escaped making the mainstream news.

With news coverage as biased as they all are, I feel it is everyone's responsibility to get to the bottom of what's going on and voice opinions accordingly.

I ESPECIALLY APPRECIATE comments from people that have differing opinions to my own, and are willing to discuss the 'other side of an issue' while remaining civil.  Give me reasons why blacks, (or anyone else) should be granted special privileges based on skin color and who knows, I may change my mind and agree you.

No surprise there, and I have to agree....I didn't see anything racist in the post. I did see another foolish edict being passed by the person responsible for a lawless administration. Make the standards equal, regardless of color. If you can't meet the standards, get off your fat ass and work on it. Quit with the handouts already.

This is a bad executive order period.  The executive order itself is the most racist thing in the OP post.  If saying such makes me a racist (and nowadays it probably does) then I am a racist too.

To limit the number of blacks that can be held accountable for their bad conduct in public schools using quotas because it makes them look bad or the POTUS thinks it will adversely affect their education is wrong!  So we should let them beat the snot out of white kids and only suspend the white kids.....with the intended result of equalizing grades?  Thats social engineering  and that too is racist.

PS... Wayne........speak for yourself.  We (all the rest of us besides you) may not feel the same as you so dont lump us (ME) in there with your ugly reply please

Wayne H,  the racism was on the part of the POTUS, not the poster.  But you should know that.

We are merely disagreeing with the POTUS on his Racist order.

Master Blaster

And while we are at it, if you cant make the grade, lets just lower the standards, That way you can graduate without the bother of learning to read, write, or talk.   Of course the beatdown the 3 blacks gave the young white cracker wasnt racist, I know that for sure because the media said so.

If this country wants educational equality, then abolish a publicly funded school systems.

Those that want an education will find a way to pay for private schooling,.....that is the only way to truly encourage self sufficiency and moral/social values.

It would save each taxpayer thousands per year and help to reduce excessive teacher salaries.

I get your point but I disagree.

I am in favor of financial help to anyone that wants a secondary education but cannot afford it, PROVIDED THAT:

They show initiative by making good grades, have no attendance issues and have stayed clear of trouble with the law.  It's that simple.  The decision to offer grants or scholarships shouldn't be based on race, but economic conditions for an applicant regardless of his or her color.

It's not a waste of money to educate and thus elevate someone's social status that is truly willing to do his part and work hard.  Those who just want a free ride at 'Party University' on the taxpayers dime need not apply.  Until the mindset of those persons changes from 'the gubmit OWES me this' to, "I'm willing to do my part and work hard to change my future," money will be wasted on undeserving leaches.  We all know that, anything 'worked for' is valued and appreciated far more than stuff given to people for reasons of "just because."

It benefits all Americans to offer a way out of poverty to the ones who deserve it, than to continue to pay for their multi-generational governmental support.

Another post and run by Wayne.  He doesn't bother to explain his stance, he is just here to inflame.
The problem with Socialists is they eventually run out of other people's money to spend!

Some people are too stupid to realize how ignorant they are.
