Brittany Spears is around 30ish I think and changing her bad behavior and growing up finally seems to have changed her life around, good for her. 

I'm sure we all have done stupid, crazy things in our 20's but not in the media limelight these gals are in.  It's all about publicity and if you are not talking about them, their fame diminishes and so goes the dough/moola.

yeah, you are right.   I'll be 63 in a couple days.....good Lord willing.....my dad wouldn't let us even watch those long haired Beatles on tv.......and I'll not let my grandchildren watch Miley on tv either.....ha.     Getting grumpy in my old age......or just wanting a higher standard of living for my granchildren.....I don't know which....ha

While I did not watch the original airing of this performance, I really don't think MSM was using this act to entertain little girls.   I could be wrong and if I am, then little girls have certainly changed what I thought there were interested in.  Or, I never really understood what little girls were interested in.

Because those little girls grow up thinking this is the norm and wind up asking us "Do you want fries with that?" and not being able figure out making change because their minds are fried.

Would like to see better. Perhaps beginning with some self respect from some of these pop "idols".

Total bill was $17.48.        I gave the clerk a $20.00 bill, he gave me 2 pennies, a nickel, 2 dimes, a quarter and $3.00 change.    Told him it was not correct, he said it has to be, that is what the register is telling me your change is.    Said OK, my error.

I agree with you Carl.  my original post was in a comparison on how milley Cyrus will probably do anything to get attention, much like Lindsey lohan.  it's really a shame on how "un-original" most entertainers are.  if memory serves me correct, both were "Disney" brats.
