And now that we're days away from bombing Syria, the only thing the news media can talk about is Miley Cyrus' antics.

Obama is about to start World War III and nobody seems to give a rat's ass.   >:(   :tickedoff:

I'm not so sure that Assad did use chemical weapons.  I'm thinking Iran lobbed a few chemical weapons over into Syria to start this entire episode....and Obozo is takin' the bait hook line and sinker.

Here we go again.  Butting into another countries business getting into another war.  We'll take Assad down and al quida will fill the vacuum.

We never seem to learn.   :uglystupid2:

Now remember kids - When a Republican president starts a war in the Middle East because of a brutal dictator that has a proven history of using chemical weapons against his own people, it's "Blood for Oil", and bad, and imperialistic and he's a war criminal. But, when a Democrat president starts a war in the Middle East because of a brutal dictator that has a proven history of using chemical weapons against his own people, it's an honorable peacekeeping mission worthy of another Nobel Peace Prize.

Don't want to sound like some preacher but look at what is going on around the world and study the Bible. It is called the end times. And we are living in those final days.

Uh, that would be a no.....not unless they've moved Texas, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi and Louisiana to the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman.

Been there, armpit of the world in my opinion, Arabs will never be at peace with anyone, even themselves, Rainman, we have been in the end times since about  64 AD, after the destruction of Jerusalem,  if you study the bible, no one knows when the end will be.  Obama is a buffoon of the highest order, along with all the other slimy politicians that were aware of the same thing happening a few years back, but played dumb.  My vote after coming home from Desert Storm was to turn that whole area into a glass parking lot, screw their politician owned oil.    OK, I'm done now :2funny:

One chart (Oil production by nation) shows Libya just below Egypt and Syria just beneath Australia.  Neither manages to make the top 25.

That's a load of horseshit. Nobody I know, Republican or Democrat, thinks involvement in this conflict is a good idea. This is the international community manipulating us yet again to do their dirty work.

But the motives are irrelevant because the end result is the same; Americans end up dead and maimed for a cause that isn't ours.

and as for the original post, it's dead on!!  obummer stood back and allowed the "muslim brotherhood" to attack and take over Egypt, and look at the situation they're in now!!  I would NOT support ANYTHING this "president" wants in the mid-east.

That's a load of horseshit.  The "international community" has nothing to do with it.  That jackass Obozo painted himself into a corner with that crossing the red line comment and now has to play the hand he dealt himself.....taking us all into the World War III and straight to hell in a handbasket.   >:(

Yeah but remember everyone said there were no WMD's guess where they popped up? Exactly where they said they went by convoy. Syria.

Ever heard of Iraq Air Force General Georges Sada?  He doesn't use the term "yellow cake", but his point (made seven years ago) is clear.

"Yeah but remember everyone said there were no WMD's guess where they popped up? Exactly where they said they went by convoy. Syria".

Lemme tell ya something Ol' Hoss........you just do not know how correct you are.

I drove a supply truck and convoyed in Iraq for three years, off and on.

Cut to late 03', Baghdad (BIAP) airport truck staging yard, late night around a pallet fire, me and a buddy hanging out with some Turkish and Jordanian truckers that convoyed with us. One of them said something about that subject in an offhand way. I was as interested and informed about that subject as a person could be at that point. I started carefully and slowly questioning them........I tippy-towed......not acting all that interested.  Reluctant at first, some things eventually came out.......many details about those convoys, that two of them there participated in. Many details and specifics were given up. I could go into them here, but I am short of time. I have detailed what they said in generalities many years ago on the net. Suffice to say, they convinced me......not only in their answers, but in their manner and body language.

Longlivedixie

"Syria has yellow cake and nuclear weapons from Iraq"?

Israel bombed a Syrian nuclear facility in 07', remember?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Orchard

Much is made of the North Korean connection/ties.......but I am convinced Saddam also transferred what nuclear material he had via those convoys I spoke of, along with other WMD materials.......some of which may have been used in that gas attack (assuming it actually happened).

One detail told me was how some trailers had the international haz-mat nuclear symbol affixed to them......along with many trailers that the skull and crossbones symbol on them........a common symbol used by the Iraqis, and other third world countries, as a generic warning for a hazardous or dangerous load........that everybody understands.
