It's cool in a "might sever arteries in a minor getoff" kind of way, but it's not Steampunk. It's Star Wars.
Boxer rebellion, the Holy Child. They all pay their rent.
But none together can testify to the rhythm of a road well bent.
Saddles and zip codes, passports and gates, the Jones' keep.
In August the water is trickling, in April it's furious deep.

The style is Star Wars, but the leather and riviets are Steam Punk, IMHO...

Yeah, sure I can see that but what did you think of when you first saw it? The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen or a Tie Fighter pilot?

I know what Star Wars is, I don't know what steam punk is (note to self to google that later on).  

Whatever it is and of all the things I've seen people on motorcycles wear, that's one of the dumbest looking things I've ever seen.

Steampunk is Victorian era inspired technology. Imagine an alternate timeline where we get advanced technology in the 1890's.
