You never know in a divorce what's really going on. I had a buddy that was out in his garage working on a car. All the sudden two cops pull up and ask him if he and his wife are arguing. He takes a drink from his beer and says. When aren't we. Well they go to the house and everything is tossed all over and broke. He says I didn't do this I have been in the garage all night. Well he had to leave and go to court on it. Now it gets better. After about six months they get back together. One night you guessed it the cops pull up again. Same mess in the house. Well this time one of the cops was on the first call. After a bunch of questions he has her figured out. This time she had to leave. She didn't have to go to court. He finely seen the light and got rid of her. When there's a divorce in the works all bets are off.

Wife refuses to press charges, by the way he was never charged only brought in for questioning. I don't know how many couples would survive if dragged into a situation like Zimmerman's. Especially when the wife was brought up on perjury charges because of the whole thing. A typical tactic in these kind of cases to put pressure on anyone opposing the gov contention of what happened or maybe to accept a plea deal. I really question the motives and character of some who posted mean things about George. Not to mention George may indeed be having some problems. How can you go through a whole thing like this including jail and not come out with a few problems. Its really nasty to see your life not only paraded around in public but made public enemy number one and see the hate and meanness of people. I pray that more would be moved to compassion to pray for George and his wife. That they can get past this and have a life again.

He was judged NOT GUILTY in court but in the court of public opinion we still see people prosecuting him.

She is working on a book deal, and they were in process of dividing their assets. She wanted a lifetime life insurance policy on him, paid for by him of course. And she was looking for alimony.
I'll let the police work this one out. Heck the media is sniffing around this guy 24/7 they are reporting his speeding tickets like they are felonies.

We lived below a couple that fought all the time. She would call the police and tell them he hit her, and he'd go to jail for the night. Finally he put a stop to it by knocking her out. TOTALLY agree with this!!

And I'll say the opposite of him being a POS!!  As a matter of fact I got him on my "hero" list, right up there with Joe Horn (concerned Pasedena, Tx neighbor years back).
Both of these guys stood up for what they believed was right (evidently unlike some that probably look the other way hoping the bad guys go away) and got their lives changed dramatically and not for the good.

Incorrect. His arrest for assaulting an officer and the restraining order taken out against him by a former fiance were both pre-shooting, by about seven years.
