T-Bird

Thanks Dave,
Who would of thought that on that rainy day we would all meet and become great friends. :cooldude:
BTW> it was the second wettest day I've ridden...ask Skinhead about the first. :2funny:

It's great to see great things happen to great people.  I'm truly happy that you have had another 10 years to enjoy and spread merriment.  I hope you have a bunch more!

Now, what's this about
QuoteHe tends to attract rain though, so choose your rides with him carefully.
13 July 2010, Lexington, KY, I believe, on the way to Bellaire.  5_19, HayHauler, me, Joe, and 2 Valks, with T-Bird on the camera   The wettest I've ever been while not scuba diving.

Just a few hours later and almost all dried out, we found ourselves in Mexico.  Indiana, that is.

Thanks for posting Joe.  This really is a miracle. My son who was riding with me at the dragon roundup will be celebrating his 8th year for his new heart.  And by an odd coincidence, our last name is Akins too!

Congrats T-bird... I had no idea!

For you organ donor proponents, remember, you can be a donor while you're still living.  A partial liver donation (the liver regenerates) or one kidney can save a life.

You can't do much about the length of your life, so focus on the width.

No doubt!  We will have to hook up one of these days!

I've seen alot of people that thought they were cool , but then again Lord I've seen alot of fools.

Terry, the world is a better place with you in it.

I'm glad to know you and look forward to many years of miles and smiles with you.

Terry, congrats on 10 years of a new heart. Im hoping to see you at the FCR, I think that pretty wife of mine is going to try to come too. Missed you at the DRU this year but you had more important things to attend to. See you in a few weeks buddy.

I can honestly say that I keep T-Bird on a short list of my favorite people to be around on this Earth.  You can NOT hang with him and not be smiling.  THAT'S the kind of guy he is.

Terry, your donor and doctors blessed us all when they patched you up.  I am honored, and humbled to call you a friend.

I missed you this past week at DRU as well, but I understand.  I have been an organ donor as long as I have known about it.  When I am gone... I won't be using them parts anymore.

Ride safe, and ride far.  This earth is better off with you on it.
