Looks like an AirTran B717 with some serious doppler going on.

He doesn't of course. I was told he had it towed there from the airport in the middle of the night illegally when we was going bankrupt.

Something not right, theres 13 identical planes in a perfect line.....some seem to be just a few hundred yards apart.  Gots to be some kind of digital trick for some reason.  And, there doesnt seem to be an airport in their path any time soon.  It is hard to tell how low they are but it seems low if these are really pictures of planes flying and not a image stamp of one plane over and over for some reason

It's multiple pics following it's path into Kissimmee Gateway to the southwest on Runway 24. Notice how it keeps getting smaller as it descends... It was shooting short approaches with a right turn to line up. Notice that Orlando Int'l is close by to the Nnortheast and all of the runways run north-south. If they took a direct approach to that runway they would be crossing approach/departure lanes for Orlando Int'l.

It's a really cool picture BTW.

Looks like a weird glitch in Goggle Maps. There is a line of aircraft in a North South line spaced every so often then breaks to the east and then I can't track anymore.

Think it is the same photo just overlaid on the map multiple times.

It seems like a flight tracker program morphed with Google. The plane is southbound and probably on a somewhat right base leg to runway 24 at Gateway airport. The plane image seems to disappear while still southbound, but, this seems like the probable scenario. For our non-aviation folks, runway 24 means its oriented roughly 240º [ southwest] , so the plane just has to make roughly a 60º right turn to final.

Airtran does not land in Kissimnee
They have to be going to MCO

Hmmm, OK. If thats the case, then maybe its on a left downwind for one of the 36 or 35 runways at MCO. Wonder what the wind was doing that day. These responses are all speculation. I just find it curious that the plane showed up in these pics. Its surprising what Google pictures pick up though. Google has JoAnn and me walking down the road to the Tiki-bar for a beer in Florida and you can read the license plate number of our truck at the house.

It could still be going to Gateway even if they don't normally run routes out of there. We have zero commercial service where I'm at but airlines routinely run charters in and out so it's not unusual to see a Southwest 737 coming or going.

That said, it could be going further south.
