I'm talking from 40+ years of driving a tractor trailer rig or 18 wheeler if you will. Looks like trailers on the trucks and there is no way i'm aware of to back up a trailer in that straight a line and not move the steering wheel. Think elongated Ss in order to keep trailer fairly straight UNLESS the trailer is locked down and the trailer will still try to go off track left or right. I'm fairly certain the other drivers will chime in and let their observations be known. I am NOT calling foul or fake or photo shopped-YET. RIDE SAFE.
Today is the tommorow you worried about yesterday. If at first you don't succeed screw it-save it for nite check.  1964  1968 U S Navy. Two cruises off Nam.

First, this is incredible. Its for real.

The truck on the right (Van damme's Left) has a trailer.
The other truck is a straight truck and is the truck that deviates to the right and creates the gap.
This is an add for Volvo's dynamic steering. Pretty precise.

There is no talking from Jean Claude while up there... for safety sake, I think he started with the split and they drove forward, gradually coming together and rolled the film backwards to create going OUT to a split.  I don't believe those drivers drove backwards for that filming.  Forward, til they came together.

Just my 2 cents.

Ride fast and take chances... uh, I mean... ride safe folks.

Probably more likely than driving backwards.
