I've been up all night chasing storm damage and down power lines. Wind blew 76 here and just made a mess. Sustained winds of 40+ and right now down around 18-20. All of this, job security but no sleep sucks. Part of the job! PLEASE keep the bad weather to yourself. I appreciate the want to share but that is alright if you don't.

   You ever notice how Jimmy rubs salt just a little when he gets the chance. It's gonna get down to 22 tonight. I might go for a ride!

We are currently setting on 38* and wedder gal says we will hit 31* tonight with a possibility of 58* tomorrow.    Then rain the next day.

I just hope Mudder nature gives me enough openings to get my leaves for all the neighbors tree mulched.

I haven't got a tree on the place anymore.   But I filled 3 big garbage can containers, and still have leaves up the ying yang.

As long as my mower will mulch em up and toss them in a basket on the rear, I'll keep riding it.

Then it can have a rest when the snow flies.   Snow blower has a 26  hp twin water cooled Kawasaki engine, and the grass cutter is a air cooled twin 36 hp Kawasaki.  Anyway that is what the decals on the engine say.

I like the way you think. Come and visit spend your money and then leave just the way we like it. Now if could spread the word and keep a few people from moving here that would be great. They move here from the cities then try and change into what the moved from cause "thats they way we did it in CA"
Then sometimes the get a lesson in how we do things in MT

Illinois isn't exactly a scenic paradise either, but if one ever had to make their decision based on the I80 drive across Iowa to Des Moine, NOBODY would live there either! God, that's a boring drive!

The worst part about I-80 in Iowa is too firkin many trucks that think they own the road.

I don't know how many times I've been or almost been run off the road due to a truck drivers stupidity.

Well I should clarify that, some damn cage driver has pulled a no no on the truck driver.

I very seldom run I-80 anymore across Iowa.   I either go up to 30 or drop down to 36.

It was an invite to visit not to live here. I was hoping you would spread the word on what an awful place it is so no one would want to live here.

I have visited that state with both the Valkyrie and my old 427 5 speed Cobra.   Did that when they 1st took away the speed limit.    Only time I ever had that Cobra open.    It got real scary when it started to act like it wanted to fly.   Didn't take too long to get it backed off.   

Don't ask how fast it was running, I was too busy trying to keep it in a straight line to look at the speedo.

I sold it about 3 months later and it went to Idaho........
