She gave me a scare this morning.

She was setting at the table writing her appeal notice to the Post Office.

I was working on the kids shop year end stuff on the computer.

Heard a thump, jumped up and ran to the kitchen and there she laid head down, glasses on her head but not where they belonged.   Walked over, touched her and she pulled her head up and she said what the ***k do you want.   Told her nothing.    So I fixed me a bowl of cereal and set at the table and ate it while she was writing this appeal letter.    I'd sat there for about 4 minutes, she looked at me and said when did you come out here, told her when she either got light headed or passed out.     She said oh.

Daughter called and said is mom ok?   I said  why do you ask, she said something just told me mom wasn't ok.   So I explained everything to her and she said take her blood sugar.    Took a sample and it was 130.  Which is alright.

She talked to the daughter for about 15 minutes, hung up and started in again on her appeal letter.    At normal time she left for work.

Last thing out of her mouth was don't mess with those papers, I have to finish them tonight and get em in the mail tomorrow.

Gee, I thought sure that I would be the last.

I was always the last to be served in a restaurant in farewell dinners and family get togethers,.

In fact, I was the last one when my company hosted my farewell retirement dinner. I was still eating while my co workers were telling lies about me.

I was one of the last to be served at the awards dinner at Inzane in Johnson City and almost ended up with a dried out pork chop.

I'm a slow eater so I'm always the last.  Glad I didn't eat this slow when I was in the Army. 

Surely ("Don't Call Me Shirley") I should be the last for this day, Uh Uh!

Apparently you have never dated or been married to a REDhead.   

They is one tough turkey especially one who grew up on a farm.

Also, work outside is not a oh "I'll get my hair all sweaty", it is a get ur ass up off that chair and get with it.

Eating leftovers now along with some home made HOT PEPPER chili...

If Red would let me, I'd eat the whole damn pot full.    I just love her Chili to death.

I hear ya about the missed meals. When I worked afternoons there were a lot of those and a pissed off first wife. We had 7 house fires in 10 days a few years back and all from the 15th of December on. It was a sad time for sure, people lost a lot. Me, I missed Xmas dinner a few years, again a pissed off first wife. Every year with the exception of last year we have been out on fire calls turkey day. I do what you do, make up for lost time when I get the opportunity.

We had to keep the highway clean, like remove davenports, lumber, dead animals or kill the severly injured ones, broken down autoa and the like.

AND, hold those highs and lows in the single digit for the next 3 maybe 4 days.

Pueblo, CO's 38th annual toy run is tomorrow Dec. 7th. Forecast calls for a high of 12. I could actually take the cold, it's the ice on the streets that will have me sittin at home.
