Oss

So I put on the heated gear and went for a ride up the goat trail

I could not believe how badly I rode the first pass, the second pass was better
but much worse than during the summer when I am riding almost every day

Also when the gloves are too tight between thumb and pointer your hand tires

Gonna order those heated gloves one size bigger and see if that helps. And Santa Oss
is gonna get a new pair of the olympia kevlar.leather gloves as well as I am just about
worn thru those

Hope ya rode if you could, and if ya didnt I tried my best to ride for ya

except for TP and he knows why   :2funny:   post the pic ifn ya dare

We should see above freezing in my stomping grounds again around May.  Ride 'em if ya got 'em -- and if ya can!

It got up to 50 today. Anthony and I rode down to the local dealer to get oil for his Shadow. Was not very far but enough to get the Valk warm enough to change its oil. After changing the oil I checked the miles since last oil change. Just under 5000 miles for the year. Not bad for me......

I think we got above 40 today!!  was able to scrape the ice off the driveway all the way down to bare concrete!!  our first snow fall was more of an ice/sleet mix then it got below freezing till now.  I can't stand snow or ice on the driveway.  the thing is, our whole road is ice and snow covered, will be till spring....

glad to hear you got out for a ride Oss..

Yah, couldn't believe my eyes here in southern WI today saw a smallish say 250cc on/off road dual purpose bike on the sloppy really wet somewhat icy/snow covered roads still was a balmy 39 degrees.

Darn ice storm finally melted off my vehicles and driveway today after 1 full week.   Give me 20" of snow over 1/4" of freezing rain/sleet anyday.

I idled the Chevy Trike out my icy driveway this morning.
Got to the street, turned and stabbed him in the butt.
Ooops, that was a 180* turn.
Went down to the corner, did a U-Turn and came back up the hill.
Couldn't get the front end to turn.
Backed down past the driveway and tried it again, wouldn't turn in.
Went up to the corner and turned around, we try this crap going down.
SOB still wouldn't turn in.  Blew the air horn and mom came to the door.
She told me later she was watching all the time out the window and was laughing so hard she cried.      Then she popped off with I told you so.
She tossed down some cat litter in front of the front wheel.   She also made a turn in and old bobby boy followed the cat litter.
I just idled the big brute back to the garage.
Put his ass away, put the battery maintainer on it and tossed the key on the floorboard.

Started towards the house, hit a patch of ice and did some fancy dancing.   Never went down thank God.

Been in the house ever since.    Will probably stay in the house tomorrow also, if we get the predicted snow fall, I'll have the blower tractor out getting it off my drive(s) and sidewalk.

Cheers.
