Looks well cared for in the pictures.... I live in east Tennessee outside of Knoxville we ride year around maybe we can hook up sometime and share the wind. You should give some thought about making InZane in June 2014     :cooldude:

I've seen alot of people that thought they were cool , but then again Lord I've seen alot of fools.

Misfit

Bring it to Inzane so we can get a closer look.  :cooldude:

Tons of nice stuff on that bike, what stands out for me is the radiator guard,

I hadn't ever heard of Munford, TN...looked it up, ad he is about a spit away from Arkasas,
I hope he does make it this way...or we could make a another road trip to the Rendezvous' in Memphis for some good ribs and hook up with him.  He might even buy since he stole that bike :cooldude:

That's what I like about you T-Bird .... You are always thinking  :cooldude:   We worked some tornado damage near Munford back in the 90's .

I can promise you will see me Joe. I'm a transplant most of my family lives in Seymour and my Dads side of the family is from strawberry plains. It doesn't mean much anymore as the family is dieing out but my last name is Galyon and in the old days you couldn't throw a rock with out hitting one of us.

I was going to connect and ride with you last year but the timing chain broke on my old 76 cb750 and took out the inside of the motor.

KG, I' just up the road from you in Gilt Edge. I think i replied to one of your posts when you first started looking for a Valkyrie last year. I've got a yellow & cream 98 standard. Where is yours now? Gimme a shout if you need help on getting her - and if you want to take a ride after you do. Hope you get that day off soon. I know about working a lot - at work now and doing 10 to 12 hours a day 7 days a week. I think I'm supposed to get off next Sunday tho.

Fritz The Cat

Yep, she's a beaut. Now go ride the piss out of her.  :cooldude:

She's at abernathys in union city. I saw  you go by when I was getting something to eat in gilt edge but you were long gone before I had a chance to flag you down.

Don't know if i was coming home or leaving, but I live about a 1/4 mile down the road from the cafe - eat there bout once a week. The weather's looking good today - if I can get out of work early enough, I may take a ride to - somewhere, and then stop by "Earp's" and get me a steak dinner on the way back.
Wish you already had yours here.

Nice ride KG! It took me 3 years of looking till I found the right I/S! Also a 99 with 27,000 on her and if I told you what I paid you wouldn't believe me. Safe Travels!

Nice score :cooldude: Good price.
Lots of extra's I see...Chrome swing arm covers, Kuryakyn pegs, Kuryakyn highway pegs/arms, Kuryakyn rear brake pedal cover, passenger adjustable floorboards, Rattlebars tube toppers (need tightened), Honda engine hangers, Kuryakyn transmission cover, Kuryakyn spark plug valence, air wings, pod lights, Ultimate seat with drivers backrest, Iron Horse dual pouch tank bag, tri-pouch windshield bag, saddlebag top racks, saddlebag rails, progressive shocks, trunk rack, Kuryakyn grips, Sean/Ken mirrors, center stand, non-molested exhaust.
I may be wrong, just a quick look and some math in my old head looks like you scored about $4k in goodies, some that can no longer be found.
I'd buy that and paint it to match my Standard turned Tourer
Congratulations, that's the kind of deal you feel good about after the deal. No buyers remorse there :cooldude:
If you can't be a good example: be a WARNING!!

The extra tall windshield (not OE) would have to go for me (or be cut down to stock or a little below).  Rattlebars radiator bar-grille. Kuryakyn brake caliper and reservoir covers.

Edit.  Cobra oil fill cap, radiator cap.

KG

That's very impressive from just the pictures about the only thing missed was the cruise control mounted on the cb/radio control.

Going up thursday to the shop to inspect the final drive myself.  A couple of guys at my shop ride wings and say they have one of the best mechanics around. I'm having it serviced with all fluids, mobil one oil, final drive and ujoint checked, sync carbs, check steering head bearings, set valves, new plugs  and new tires.

And I have to buy the wife a new pink helmet and jacket and she has already pulled out the map and marked a lot of places to go.

Saweet!  Looks just like my 99 IS only cleaner.  Mine only has 33K but don't look that nice!
Wonder if it has the Dan Marc and the double row upgrade.  I had to do that immediately.
