Floats maybe, pontoons?

While I try to not cut a curve like that.   Who here hasn't one time or another?    This guy just happen to be doing it at the wrong curve where there's a camera waiting to snap his pic.     Don't get me wrong, it's a dumb move but, we've all done it.   He's and we are all lucky it was just a camera and not a cage or truck coming around that curve.

That is a summer pic on the Dragon. There are no curves where it is safe to do this. If you can't stay in one lane, you are riding beyond your skill level.
I ride a motorcycle because nothing transports me as quickly from where I am to who I am.

Yep the rider is a ploinker of the first order.

Anyone time you cross a double yellow in a bend it's like having an accident.
If it's habit you get into one day the habit may kill you.
Chance are the speed you carry thru the straightened bend is higher than if you were following the curve.

Hey Britman, ever thought he is on the correct side of the road  I ride that side all the time, would be head on with something else otherwise.
Someone said he was looking at the side of the road....you are supposed to look through the corner at your vanishing point...you go where you look, eyes up, head up and throttle on. Any rider trainer will tell you that...just saying.
Hey but we all know that America has no corners to practice good cornering techniques ....LOL :2funny:
Funny looking bags though for sure

If I saw him do it, I'd tell him how dumb it is to cross that double yellow but, I'll be honest and say that I've done it myself and I am quite sure every one of you has done it in the past also.   Maybe by accident but, you all have done it also and you know it as well as I do.

I'd be embarrassed if Killboy had gotten me that way also.   Anyone know who it is?    Based on the comments here, if he's a member, I'll bet he's looking for a different set of bags for that bike.  :D

Real funny, he isn't just slightly over or even just touching the line. He's in the WRONG lane. I see too many like this there and then they go home and brag about riding the dragon..... no mention of cutting out all the curves he supposedly came to enjoy. Sorry but I don't see any defense for this action which does cause deaths here. Flame suit on !!

I agree 100 % Dave  :cooldude:

Right here is what happens when a rider can't stay in his lane... 3 Valkyrie riders hurt bad when a rider coming the other way blew a curve and hit them...One Valkyrie rider dead when he blew a curve and hit a tree... All this went down within 2 hours of each other  :(

Better to ride slower at your own pace

move to the right and let riders pass

than to exceed your limitations and carelessly cause harm
to your self or someone else  (glad Whisky and Sugar are recovering)

Man needs an MSF course and some practice lookin thru curves

Y'all can tease me till the cows come home about goin slower than most in turns
I dont know but you wont be
seeing me crossing the yellow line anytime

I get there eventually and with a big crap eatin grin on my face
If you don't know where your going any road will take you there

I'm with Oss on this one.

At my age and being a flatlander, I ride slower and at my pace.  I do practice on the two curves that we have here in NE Indiana.  ;D   That's not quite enough to keep up with the likes of Joe. ;)

I learned some time ago to ride my own ride and my ride is now slower than it was.  However, a slower pace makes me keep it between the lines.  Maybe I should ride a Vespa instead of the Vstrom, yeah right! ;D

The Vstrom is fully capable, with a good rider,  of keeping up with any Valk in the curves BUT I ain't.

if I come to Inzane I'll be zoom, zooming, not riding.

No, I'm not a foot dragger.  I just got started when the lady in the apt. next to me snapped this pic.

I confess, if I spotted a big patch of loose gravel and sand in my lane and I was not going to miss it, I'd probly slip over there if it looked like I had time.  I'm not gonna criticize a man's bike because of his taste in saddle bags, though, kinda seems to me it's a cheap shot. Hoser  ???

I never said anything about his saddlebags other than I wasn't crazy about them. The " Shame " in this thread is he's on the wrong side of the road. I could really careless about his saddlebags.

True that, and I know you are right about crossing the line,I just don't think it's any of my business what he uses for saddle bags. I have seen those before, Usually on a dual purpose bike. I think they pop off to take inside when you stop for
