If I didn't already have one I would seriously be trying to find out where they are being sold and buy one. The look of that stock wouldn't keep me from owning it. NEW YORk, don't get me started on the liberals not only in the state but those that keep getting re-elected to run it..

While we're on the subject, I love the fact that the infamous Hello Kitty AR15 (Yes, it's real) is California legal because it doesn't have a separate pistol grip... (I believe it's owned by a Californian no less, although that part shouldn't come as too much of a surprise ;) )

Even if I had a daughter, she would never get that.   :crazy2:

I still think that stainless guns are gaudy.

I'd tote one of those hello kitty's, Why not?  Hell, next winter (if it's as bad as this one) I may even make my interstate into a hello kitty model.

It's hard to know what you'll do for a kid until they're there... I've got 2 daughters, and there are 2 hot pink .22 youth rifles in one of my safes... ;)

That actually is a cool looking gun.  I wonder if they would be available in Canada.  I know a few people that would want one.

Hey, does that gun have the infamous "Shoulder thing that goes up"?!?!?!

Shoulder Thing That Goes Up
I got a Shoulder Thing That Goes Up on my Rock Island Armory tactical 12-ga pump.  No extra charge either, WOO-HOO!

Fewer people are killed with all rifles each year (323 in 2011) than with shotguns (356), hammers and clubs (496), and hands and feet (728).

I know my mothers feet could kill!  she wore "plastic" artificial leather shoes that made her feet sweat, and boy did they stink!

I could live with pink Crickets or some such, but not an AR.

On the other hand, whatever it takes to make them lifetime members of our gun and freedom culture is worth it.

As long as they go bang bang bang, I could give a sheet what color they are.

Actually, they all could be painted camouflage green and I wouldn't care.

I think I have shot everything the Marine Corps had a handle on, and I know I did the CHP weapons.

In fact my 1st weapon as a Cadet graduate was a left over CHP weapon they sold at the time for $15.00.    They also took a Dollar out of my check each month till it was paid for.

Didn't make too much $$$$ working for the CHP in 1954.

However it was a little over what I made in the Marine Corps as a T/Sgt.

Wouldn't it be easier to put an A2 stock on your AR and remove the pistol grip....that would be compliance with the law, right?

Easier maybe, better to repeal the stupid law.

Good luck on repealing a law.  What I was saying is that it would be easier and cheaper than buying that abortion in the posted picture.

Definitely not impossible but the pistol grip on an AR platform is more than something to hold on to. It also holds in the detent and detent spring for the safety lever, which holds the safety lever in place. So that would need to be re-engineered. A simple plate could be made to go there to hold all that in, but that's another step that would need to be done.

The posted picture gets around that by having the grip mount in the same place as the pistol grip.
