Does anyone else have trouble getting your side covers on?
My grommets always tear in the same place and it seems unusually hard to push the covers on.  Is this normal?

Yes, if they're dry. I've actually used a little bit of Dielectric grease. It holds up well, won't hurt the rubber grommets and is slippery as chit. Just a light film is all that's needed.

thank you for the council DFragn  because I've got the same trouble

Size does matter...........Aouhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!

a little liquid hand soap makes them easier to slip and slide in and out.  Old rubbers need more and more lubricant is what we can learn from this.

I have also found it difficult and will try the dielectric lube next time.
