Serk

Just wanted to share with my VRCC family, tomorrow is gonna be a crazy day for the Serk Household... The triplets are having their tonsils and adenoids removed and tubes put in their ears. All three of 'em, at once. This is gonna be a lotta fun for the next few weeks dealing with 3 3 year olds going through and recovering from surgery all together, but we figure better to just do it all at once and get on with it.

We've had 6-8 confirmed Strep infections per kid so far this year, REALLY hoping this puts an end to that nonsense.

Anyway... Not sure the real purpose of this post, but wanted to let my non-Facebook VRCC family know what's going on... Few recent pics just because why not...

Wishing you (and them) the best possible result.

Incidentally, Serk, Cute children.  Everyone can see their mother is obviously very pretty.   ;)

Thanks!

And this is dedicated to my wife, luckily they only get their height from me!

My son had that done 20 some years ago and never had another problem. Good luck to you guys :cooldude:

Cute meter pegged.   :cooldude:

Wish all the best of luck.

As a munchkin, I had chronic strep and tonsillitis and the doc kept saying as soon as he's healed, get him in here, the tonsils need to come out.  Then we moved and I never had a problem again, and never had them out.  I'm sure not doing it in my 60's, no matter how cute the nurses or vast the ice cream.

Agreed, you have some great looking kids. Wishing a quick recovery. The tubes part is a very quick and painless surgery...probably about 5-10 minutes per... Ice cream should go a long ways toward the other part. :)

Praying for a quick painless recovery for the kids and for the parents  ;) What cute kids and great pics

I had that done when I was in high school. I laid around on the couch for a whole weekend, unable to eat anything but ice cream. And even that hurt.
My little sister had hers out at the same time AND a hernia repaired. She was a good 5 year younger than me. We came home the same morning. That afternoon, as I was laying on the couch hoping to die, I heard my mother in the front yard screaming, "Kelly! Get out of that tree and back into bed!" Then for supper, as I sipped my melted ice cream, I watched her gobble down venison steak smothered with soy sauce.
I'm thinking that at the age of your little ones, they'll never know anything happened.
I'm hoping that's the way it goes.

ps yep, cute meter pegged.
Here there be Dragons.

If you can't share concerns about things in your life with your VRCC family who can you share them with. Very glad all seems to be going well after the procedure. Will keep them in my thoughts and prayers for  a successful outcome. Look forward to see them running around next year at GOTF.
