Wired bike for trailer and works great BUT.......

After installing the hitch today we took it out for a test ride.  I have 01 I/S and wife has Tourer.  She followed me to report how the trailer pulling was going.  Trailer is a Timeout camper model (used).  All went fine until I used my C/B, When I talk one of the signals will come on (trailer only), the next time I transmit the other turn signal comes on...... (she's laughing now)  When I Laugh she says both turn signals alternate.  The lights work great as they should it's just when I transmit over the C/B.  I'm using the Hopkins power hook-up for trailer lights as suggested in shop talk.  When I just key the mic nothing unusual happens its just when I transmit.  Might just leave it as is, messed with this project long enough but thought someone might of had this happen before.  Hmmm wonder what will happen when I use the GPS??

Where did you connect the wires to this module...........

Hopefully all under the right side cover.

The only connections under the right side cover are the main power and ground for the Hopkins converter.  All other connections are under the seat directly into the wires that goes through the fender.  Hmmm seems like there was another connection there to, will take another look at it......

Did it just like shop talk Waynes tech tips, wiring an interstate for trailer.....

Check the bulbs for looseness,the RF is hitting the lights  and making them come on, the freq. is not suppose to do that, some times when I talk on my HAM radio with the AMP on my house lights will dim. but not all the time --GOD BLESS---you could also have SWR to high on the ant. just a couple of things to check.
