I just got and installed my new 19" Clearview windshield on my standard. What do you all use to keep it

clean  and scratch free?

Hydrogen peroxide from a spray mister with a microfiber cloth wipe to loosen/remove the bugs (amazing), followed by Novus #1 plastic polish with a clean microfiber.   :cooldude:

Warm water first to remove anything gritty, same thing you need to do with the OEM shield. Then go to clean and polish with your choice of material, just don't polish it with grit(unseen) still present.

Thanks all. I always carry a soft sponge  that  I can wet and a microfiber cloth to clean any bugs off.

I've also used Lemon Pledge and Plexus after getting it clean.

+1 for me. Sometimes I use Pledge or Maguiar's Quik Detailer.

Best thing I've ever found! Cheap, effective, easy! Also "dissolves" those nasty bugs off the metal parts (when cool) and other plastic stuff.

Just use the 3% stabilized solution commonly found at Wally World or any store.  Buy in bulk and transfer to a spray mister.  Use liberally, it won't hurt anything.

I'm either driving a Valkyrie or an Airbus... it just depends on the day of the week.

Bad idea!  :uglystupid2: It will react with materials in the shield and cloud it up. Others here have more experience with it than I do. It's made for glass.
