windshield reflection

To whom it may concern, I'm not sure if I am the only one with this problem, or should I say used to have for a problem. We just returned from a trip and it confirmed my, lets jus say, adjustment. I had trouble with a reflection of the sun off of the gas cap "ring". Be it off the windshield or anywhere the sun was got me in the eyes. My Valk is white and purple. I bought a kit for painting guns, I used flat white. Not only did it kill the windshield reflection, it also cut the sun in the eyes by at least 90 percent. The gun paint, after curing, is capable of withstanding gas spillage. Looks good to.

Sounds like a good fix for a widespread problem.  Clint makes nice leather covers for the gas cap/escutcheon plate.  I went this route without the plate:
