Wouldn't surprise me if he were there against law for a third term. That is how stupid people are in this country. Don't care how bad things are or what the rules are as long as they are getting free stuff and I am paying for it . And their lazy asses don't have to get up and go to work they will keep drinking the kool aid and voting the same. What they don't realize is that there are about 2people on government assistance for every one that works. Will the money run out Hell No because it did a long time ago. Time for survival of the fittest. You no work you no eat.

I understand you don't like him. But I don't see how he can get around the amendment.

Well you tell me how he has gotten around everything else that he says is within his power a POTUS to do. But it isn't. Our country will never be the same we will be just another socialist country and will be over taken by whoever yells boo because not only the POTUS but citizens have no spine and won't do anything to that isn't politically correct if fear of offending anyone including the sworn enemies of the USA!

By stirring up civil unrest before the election he can declare Martial law and suspend the election.  I have said many times that his ambition is president for life.  Just the title and perks, not the actual nitty gritty of the job.  Like since he was first elected, all he is interested in is the privileded high life on other folks money.

While morally I don't believe this is beyond him, he's also not dumb, and I think even he fears if he tried a stunt like this it would lead to an armed insurrection...

While some complain, I take solace in the fact that he appears to have already abdicated the throne and does nothing but makes speeches and play golf now. I really don't think his heart is in it anymore, he's just playing out the clock at this point.

At one point I think he was a fiery Marxist set out to burn Western Civilization down, but I really think late middle age and a soft, easy life have taken hold on him, and he's looking forward to making his easy millions giving speeches, writing books, and playing lots of golf in Hawaii at this point.

As a listener to talk radio since the early 80s, I remember all the talk about repeal of the term limits amendment so Reagan could run for a third term (which, as I recall, Reagan himself said was ridiculous - however, as the 22nd Amendment was adopted and passed by Republicans as retaliation over FDR's disregard for tradition, hilarity ensued in some quarters), George H.W. Bush was supposed to declare martial law to avoid handing the WH over to Bill Clinton after his 1992 defeat, and Clinton was supposed to do away with the 22nd Amendment by Executive Order (never could puzzle out how that was supposed to work since it can't be done that way) so that he could be President for life. I guess I wasn't paying all that much attention by the end of George W's second term so I have no idea what nefarious plots that tricky little devil was supposed to be hatching but all the talk of Obama disregarding the Constitution and running for a third term while the idiots in the electorate blithely manage to forget that he can't do that fits in well with a narrative that has been running for as long as I can remember, and probably has been around in one version or another since Thomas Jefferson refused to step aside and allow John Adams to ascend to the Presidency as God had ordained.

All rumors aside, I suspect we will have an election on time, Obama will retire and his successor will be sworn in, half the country will celebrate while the other half stews and rumors will begin churning anew once enough time has passed that most of us have forgotten that Obama was supposed to spell the end of America.

     I agree, he has checked out. I wonder who really is in charge now, from his list of "advisers". I bet he has an "aww sh*t" moment every morning when he gets up, whether it's a beheading, plane shot down, riots, border issues or Russian agression, just another day in paradise for Obama.

It seems to me that the repeal of the 22nd is kept alive because of the nit-wit congressman from New York that keeps bringing up the subject. I can't remember his name, probably just as well.


I also wonder if the money given for Bergdahl's release is part of the militaries unaccounted for $9  trillion.

I also haven't figured out if one of the 5 released detainees for Bergdahl is the one that is the head of ISIS, or, if it was one of the previously released detainees.
