obama said during his campaign that he would bankrupt the coal industry and is keeping that promise.
Well, apparently he wants to do the same with the lead industry.
The only remaining lead smelter is in Missouri and the EPA has added so many extra recent regulations that it is closing. This means that the lead must now go to china for smelting and then return here.
The price is about to skyrocket.
Remember the government buying all the ammo, seems like this all part of a big plan.
Buy all the guns you want and because he couldn't outlaw them, he will eliminate the lead.
I guess ammo will soon be even more unaffordable as will 100LL avgas or anything else that contains lead.
I still can't believe this man was ever elected.

He wasn't elected (well not legally anyway) And certainly didn't win his second term within the law either.  Its a scam by the progressive left on the entire nation, the likes of which we have never been seen before, and few seem to care.

There are more than just that one lead factory here in the US  look up JCI, the biggest battery manufacturer in the world. What is the main component in a battery? Yes lead, we build tons of their machines for them. The problem with using their lead for bullets is 100% pure lead is too soft so you need to mix copper, or aluminum in with it. Our machines melt the lead and remove these other metals for the use in batteries.
