Used to jump off the bridge into the river bombing canoes a bunch of years ago right down 476 used to visit my Grandma and always drove thru the "time warp" when we passed by the headless dinosaur.
Any who, I plan on being there .  Just came in from giving the mistress a bath, dang ole limerock roads.  Oh well all pretty and shiny now.

  Won't make this ride as I will be in the family truxter heading to the far north with several stops along the way including Dollywood, Athens, Parkersburg, Buffalo, Niagara Falls, Toronto, Montreal, Portland, Salem, Boston and a few other stops on the way back south. Should be home in time for the Sherri and Jerry valk party opening up the fall Florida riding season.

Still have not made my mind up on how I am going, thinking 301 n to 98, then pickup croom Nobelton rd.
It intersects with 476 about a Block from River Rats.

Bill you might want to check and see if Croom Nobelton Rd is paved or not.
We went up that way once and ran into some dirt for a few miles.

WE will probably go: From Hess go north on Mondon Hill then turn right on Weatherly - turn right on Croom – turn left on Dempsey – Turn right on Malvern – Turn left on Cyrano – Turn Right on Willow – Turn left on Danmar – turn right on Pine Hill  - Turn left on Daly – Turn right Lake Lidsney and drive to FOOD. This is what we will take. I know it sounds convoluted but it is actually quite a natural drive/weave in this area.   All paved here

Hey, I'm intrigued now, has anyone taken this Croom road in this area Bill and Billy are talking about, using Google maps and placing my guy there I haven't encountered dirt road yet. Is it all paved? It looks like a cool route.
