The Fat Lady is home ans so am I.  A friend and I went to Joplin and brought her home.  We both have some damage, and I will repair it when I am able to.  The Insurance company gave me 6000 dollars for her and I bought her her back for 750 dollars.  It will be a while before I can get to work on it.  I was in the hospital for two days while the fixed my ribs.  We drove her onto the trailer.  Hoser  shocked

Valkyrie VERY repairable. Happy that overall you are okey dokey. Take your time on yerself and the Phatt Lady.  We AIN'T 19 no mo and bullet proof!

heal up and you will be back in the saddle sometime next year I bet.  Am sure for 5 grand and MUCH less than that you will get it running.  Sounds like insurance company gave you a fair deal although am sure you think the bike is priceless.

I'm glad your injuries are not disabling, that's the most important thing.  I'm also glad you're immediately making plans to get the bike repaired so you can rider her again.  I suppose If I had to choose a time to crash, it would be late in the season so I would miss less riding and have the winter to get the bike fixed.

Oh, I would look at having the insurance company replace your camera too; the auto-focus was definitely damaged in the crash.

Hope you and the girl both heal fast..she looks far more repairable than Blackie(99IS) looked when I had my mishap last July 31, unless there is something which cannot be seen in the photo.  She don't  have frame damage I hope.
