Last week I met a V star rider, who installed two LED light clusters on his windshield mounts. When the left signal is on the left LED cluster blink with the signal light . And the right with the right cluster. The LED is very bright and it act as a reminder for his signal is on. Have anyone tried this. I wish I have took some photos.

Yah, I wish you had taken pics also. I forget to turn off my signals also, once in awhile.  :uglystupid2:  Luckily I group ride alot and someone in the pack will transmit on the CB "signals".  :o

Done easily enough, placing an LED cluster inside the fairing or shield, even on the bars. However, I would recommend a switch to shut that off at night so as not to be too blinding or distracting at night.  Usually people can see that their signals are on at night.

just curious......why would one need two extra lights (left and right) does it really matter which one is on or just that A blinker is on, turn it off........just thinking out loud.  I like the idea, but instead of tapping into the signal buckets you could just use the light in the headlight bucket and have one L.E.D. that's more "in your face" than the light on the headlight.

That right there is why I like my I/S. Even with the sun shining on the dash I can see the orange/amber turn lights on the dash. When I ride with my brother on the other hand and I'm behind him I usually have to use the air horn to remind him about his turn indicators. He rides a STD/TOUR. I.ve seen some add on lights that mount above the mirror and have a couple of the lights facing to the rear I presume for the driver. Course I've followed cagers in various vehicles and the cager has that turn indicator on for miles and miles and-you get the idea. RIDE SAFE.

If you really have that much trouble , just add a small buzzer to the T/S system...
problem solved...

How about something like this?

I was looking for the video with the one for the passenger. Very powerful, and when the ride is over in the city, and you get home, most likely you  get to go for another ride  :cooldude:

Then there is also this,

Not trying to hijack but this reminded me of something.  I pulled into a party store and there were 3 bikes in the parking lot and one of them had the key in it with the lights on and one of the blinkers going. I walked into the store and found the three riders deciding on beverages. I asked who was riding the red victory. They looked at me funny and one guy said me, why. I answered, your blinkers on. The other two guys busted out laughing and the owner said damn it, I've got to start remembering that key. He thanked me and headed out to get his key out of the bike.

Two years ago I did the LED turn signal conversion below, originally posted in November of 2011.  It flashes so bright that I cannot ignore it in day light, probably too bright at night.  I ripped out the buzzers that I had previously installed.

Oss brought up something that I wish my 99 I/S had and that is 4 way flashers. What do you do to make the turn signals function as 4 way hazard flashers? Thanks, Hoosier Jaybird.

I was going to put this on my ACE Tourer. Then bought a GW, which has flashers.

Thanks GordonV for the help. This is a mod I plan on doing. Seems easy enough to do. Jaybird.
