Well I finally trow in the white towel Mother Nature wins. My last ride was three weeks ago. It was gotten cold and a little snow and salted streets. So on Saturday I went for a 4 mile ride it was a damp 40 degree day in Wisconsin. So I dropped the oil and filter, cleaned her up then parked her in the garage and covered her up. It's always a sad day when you know that the bike will not move for along time.
It was a good summer I sold my 98 Tourer. My forever bike but it was time. I still had my 99 Interstate and my 06 ST1300 and I just retired, live was good. But in Aug. Honda had some great deals on F6B's so I traded in the ST. Life was still good, can't wait till next summer.
Anyone want to but my I.S.???
Here's the guy that brought my Valk he had a matching Valk trike.

Picture was taken at the YOOPERS place in Ishpeming in the U.P. of Michigan. And yes, that is a large rifle mounted on the bed of a truck

And the plow is mounted to a 56 or 57 Buick

I got a couple of rides in after our run to Door county.  I pulled the forks off to polish them up right. Still haven't put back together but I really didn't miss any riding.
I found one picture from that ride.  Great ride BTW

Will see what spring brings. I've seen once that gray metallic flamed all chromed out one up I/S and is a keeper.  Someone in the spring, if not me, will get a good deal on it am sure, just wish it had the easy convert back to 2-up I/S riding.  I still think the looks will be on that 99 gray I/S over that new black F6B at over 2x's the price.

Enjoy retirement by the way which am sure you will be riding tons more come next year.
