Picked up a big bike parts hitch,  anybody hot instructions on how to install?

gordonv

No, don't have it, and neither does Dag.

So if you find it, get a copy over to Dag's site to be added to the list.

I have one that I've never installed.  Bought it used...no instructions.

However, and I could be wrong, but I think you just need slightly longer bolts for it and that's it.
I can't help about the shape I'm in
I can't sing, I ain't pretty and my legs are thin
But don't ask me what I think of you
I might not give the answer that you want me to

If you are talking about one of these I have some words of wisdom.

I make my own. And what I learned the hard way from BBP was that not all rear caliper clearances are the same. I bought one from them in 99 when the I/S first came out. I installed as per the "instructions" and I left for a trip. When I heard a noise upon rear suspension compression. The hitch was making contact with the rear caliper right at the bleeder nipple. it was shaving off metal.
BBP sent me a new bolt set and extra washers. Now when I make them, I shim that side till I'm sure it will clear. I also make studs instead of bolts it makes removing the bag hardware SO much easier in the future.

Do you make the parts for sale?
