Want to throw this out there and get any input as to what day would be best for a fish fry at the cabin. The cabin is approximately 1-1/2 to 2 hour ride from Maggie Valley.

Cabin address   -   2419 Beans Creek Rd.
                           Bakersville, N.C. 28705

My Cell 352-302-6192

Throw out some input - I think middle of the week would be good but want to hear from the group as to what would be best.

  :D :D :D   Only a month out and cannot wait - Love riding in those mountains .    :D :D :D

That is great Rick  :cooldude:

I am not much of a fish eater but it is all about the fellowship and the ride  :cooldude:

Nothing is set as far as scheduling rides or anything else as of now, so pick a day and we will set it aside.

Thanks, that is really cool from you and Kristie and I am also looking forward to the mountain rides

I only have Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday to ride and must travel back home Wednesday, just my schedule, do what works best for all. ;)

That's real nice of you and Kristie Rick.  Any day but Sunday the 31st or Friday the 5th as we have no schedule. We can bring stuff too..some of us have trunks!!
I still miss her.

Rick that sounds like a lot of fun. I see the creek out front, will we be wetting a line for our lunch?

Hey Rick I don't know if a bunch of flatlanders can negotiate all those twists and turns to get there? :D

Ha!....an Anchovy is either not a real fish (coming from a guy born and raised in the Keys) or a fish that has been left out in the sun for too long.

Jess from VA

(Double) anchovies are what my college roommate ordered on his pizza when he didn't want to worry about sharing with anyone. (It worked too)

A reasonable substitute for anchovies can be made by cutting up a dead fish laying the sun for a week, and then adding a tablespoon of salt to each morsel.

I'm not a big fish eater either (except Icelandic no-bone Cod and Albacore Tuna), but this could be a  lunch location on a daily ride.  If someone who knows the area wants to lay on a nice roundabout route.

Glad there will be lots of fish since so many don't seem to like it.  I love fish.  Patti and I just got back from fish dinner.  Any day will work as most have said.  Thanks for thinking of it Rick and Kristie.
