Sunday the 5th ride pics

Ok so, tossing this out early as the 4th might have family/friends outings. What about a Sunday ride to Neon Leon's as they open at 11:00 and I suggest we open the joint up. Sherry and I will be up to Z-hills and will be available for riding Fri, Sat and Sunday. Thoughts or other suggestions? And yes I know Gills Wing won't even be warmed up by the time we arrive.

Gill we had my Mom and Dad up for diner and talked about your trip and my Mom wants to know if you can stretch out completely in the camper???

Sounds wonderful but will be down on Anna Maria at the Condo on the Beacho meeting my Nephew's son for the first time ...... and he is 21! Does that make him a grand nephew? Hell if I know.
My excuse is that he is from Fiji although I have a long standing invite to visit anytime.

Just to let you know ,traffic may be heavier than usual in the Homosassa area . Scallop season has just opened and this long weekend may have all the boaters out . Not so much that Neons will be full but the roads may be congested.

It has room for two to stretch out completely. I used a gear bag with my cold weather riding stuff in it as a pillow.

There are panels that you place for either traveling or sleeping or sitting inside (rain, cooking, etc). Since my run was solo the removable panels stayed home. This is where a second person would sleep.
With this panel out you can stand and get dressed there. It also has a covered porch that zips on. Setup time is about 5 minutes and then another 10 decorating the inside with all the riding stuff and ceiling fan/light.

Even though we seem to be hijacking the thread, my apologies Jerry, that trailer is very impressive. I would definitely like to see it completely set up. Nice little home to tag along with.

Hey Jerry I ordered the same LED Fog Lights that Pappy has on his Valk, should have them soon.

I also ordered a pingel valve, I want to eliminate the worry asap, I put one on all my other valks so it's time.

Did you say once you are in Bushnell? How many miles do you want to ride? We normally meat in San Antonio.

Close to bushnell. I normally do 250mile days. The last 2 weekends i did 250 which has been comfy. San an huh

Wow!

that is the turn out I like. What 12 bikes 16 bodies. Great day for sure. Had no doubt we would get wet on the way home but somehow we missed everything. 4:50p and we are on the porch at the cottage and enjoying a rain. This is the best way to top off a great long weekend.

Fitz, Ed and Sarah are wonderful kids, definitely enjoyed their company. Ed what we did not either remember or it was not mentioned, are you and Sarah married, was not sure. The other question is there dirt bike events you do that are good for spectators?

Watch out for turtles and wild boars!!! Dang!

Don, finally we get to meet Roxie!!!! We totally enjoyed time spent with your better half. She will get her Valk trike.

Very nice turn out, great people, great food, and all new to me roads! What an awesome way to close out the FOURTH OF JULY weekend! I missed all the rain as well, great ride home, awesome country roads!
